Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Poole Harbour

Lovely place with great amenities. Ideal for family gatherings and our 2 dogs especially were very happy with the outside space. It is easy to drive into Poole which has a good shopping area and lovely quayside. There were lots of good walking areas nearby and a choice of local park runs! There was a good space for the dogs to sleep off the utility room. And a well equipped games room in a former garage though this was rather cold at this time of year. I dare say some form of heating would be provided if requested. But we spent most time outside enjoying the garden space.

smashing little cottage! We parked the car at the Council House and had a week bus passing. We are 2 friends in our 70s ,and we coped with the steep stairs and downstairs loo. The town centre is so close, and the bus service was great. We cooked every night in the well equipped kitchen and slept really well in the comfy beds. There is a lovely, sunny back yard and a pleasant riverside walk opposite. A very good holiday. thanks.

Jo was an excellent host! Beautiful little cottage, perfect! with everything we needed for the stay. Jo lit the fire ready for our arrival, can’t recommend enough! Thanks Jo, it was a wonderful stay.

We have just returned from Caroline’s beautiful cottage. It was everything we wished for and more. The cottage had everything we needed, the beds were extremely comfortable and the cottage was exceptionally clean. The surrounding area was very quaint and pretty and there was lots to explore in the area and a bit beyond. We spent NYE at Durdle Door, an hours drive away but well worth it. Would highly recommend Caroline’s cottage and our dog loved it too.

Our stay in the New Forest was absolutely wonderful, largely thanks to Lesley's beautiful Airbnb. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to all the natural beauty the area has to offer. The property itself was spotlessly clean, clearly reflecting Lesley's attention to detail and commitment to providing a comfortable experience. Lesley was a fantastic host, warm and welcoming, and her passion for the New Forest really shone through. We (including the 3 dogs) couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Thank you, Lesley!

We have just returned from a weekend staying at The Conservatory. What a perfect little find! A beautiful bolt hole just off the beaten track. It was cosy, the heating kept the place lovely and warm, it was adequately furnished with everything you could need and was very private. A 10 minute walk to the local pub was easily manageable. The food was fabulous and we were made to feel very welcome. If we ever return to The New Forest we will definitely be looking Pip up again!

Excellent all round. Very clean and comfortable. Well laid out rooms. Kitchen well equipped. Especially good shower room with plenty of space. The road is very quiet at night. Walking distance to local shops, and to the very pleasant park-like areas around the river by Tuckton Bridge. Kind greeting from hosts, who provided an extra chair, and adjusted the heating for me. I would stay again !

We had a comfortable stay with our 5 month old. Spacious bathroom and clean throughout. Good instructions for check in and friendly communication. It is a top floor apartment and the stairs are quite shallow, so perhaps not suited to anybody not steady on their feet. Little bit of street noise but this was to be expected in such a fantastically central location on the main high street.

Wonderfully located, this property offers great sized rooms and fully stocked kitchen. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Bournemouth.

We will definitely stay here again. From Richard's first welcoming message to the final friendly farewell, we felt thoroughly and generously cared for. Every conceivable mod con is available including for example a Nespresso machine with pods on the house and the decor is stylish. The kitchen is plentifully equipped but we didn't use it much because there are so many excellent restaurants in the area. There's a Coop store about 5 minutes walk away and an excellent cafe less than 10 minutes away by the sea on South Bourne Promenade. There are televisions in the bedrooms, the outdoor area is nicely arranged, catches the sun and is peaceful, and car parking is private and straightforward. My wife and I can't wait for our next visit and for a longer stay.

I had a great 3 night stay in Brian's lovely, spacious Airbnb. It's in an amazing location near beaches and has sea views from the balcony and a dedicated parking space. The property is well-stocked with everything that you would need and Brian was so welcoming and helpful - thank you!

Fresh flowers and welcome pack on arrival were a lovely start to a very comfortable and peaceful 6 night break. The apartment had everything I needed and the spacious bedroom (very quiet), comfortable bed and cosy lounge with log burner made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Beth and Annie were great hosts - very responsive and friendly. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

I would say this flat is charming and very welcoming and very clean and beautiful inside lovely bathroom very comfortable beds ,location perfect walking distance to nice restaurant’s I would recommend the haven on the harbour lovely food and service I would recommend to my friends and would love to come and stay again a lovely relaxing stay in comfort

James is a lovely person and his home is really magical and he gave us total privacy but was ready to help or advise on anything, it was a lovely experience and definitely going back the house is fantastic really special and huge I have never slept in such a huge house even the bathroom was lovely the house is really authentic and fabulous wild garden I loved the windows beautiful location really quiet

Each summer a U.K. FAMILY holiday is planned for three generations ..ages 5 up to well quite a lot! The choice this year was to go to Simons place.and what a find for everyone. A characterful house. Inside spacious spotless , kitchen brilliant ,, bedrooms roomy , bathroom ( particularly first floor) fabulous, living room so homely with Simons personal collection of books, his piano, homeliness beyond, and with cable Tv Incorporating Sports channels , and Netflix and Prime Video . Outside the decking in the rear garden a wonderful morning sun trap , the front garden full of charm with BBQ facilities and two squirrels nicknamed Bill and Bob..there every morning … The location very peaceful , parking at front and rear of property . Local shops , and the beach within easy 5-10 minutes walk and buses same time away into Bournemouth Poole and Christchurch . A wonderful seven days

Enjoyed a memorable stay in Goretti’s peaceful and spacious home. The house is fully equipped and was extremely clean. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden and conservatory. Communication was seamless. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home. It was lovely to be greeted by the host with a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge.

Lovely family home in the heart of the new forest. Was perfect for a pre Christmas getaway with lovely fireplace and warm Arga in the kitchen. Ian and team were very accommodating and it was lovely to have our two cocker spaniels with us to enjoy long daily walks in the forest. Will definitely be back again
