Vacation rentals with lake access in Plymouth County

Marla's vacation home was very lovely. We liked the pictures of her place, but once we arrived we realized that she had remodeled a number of rooms. Each room was updated, very clean and cozy. Marla has made sure that her place is stocked with all of the large and small conveniences that guests would want in a home away from home. The location and the surroundings are stunning, especially with the Fall foliage. One can tell that Marla takes great pride in her beautiful rental. -Mark & Susan G

What a cool spot! Stayed a couple nights with friends for a "Book Retreat" and had the best time reading in the Hammock, chatting by the fire pit, and cooking together in the kitchen.

The house was as advertised. In a nice quiet area. The house was well set up and as advertised. We felt right at home for the weekend.

Susan and Gerry's place is a wonderful place to stay. It is clean, modern, well equipped and is in a beautiful setting. Their home is in a central place that allows you to access all the sites that the Cape has to offer. It is to get to the quaint town of Sandwich or access the wonderful beaches of the National Seashore. They provide a beach pass that allows free access to some of these beaches. Their home is a quiet setting with access to walking trails and a local pond with beach access. This is our second year at their home and we are looking forward to spending time next year. This property was stunning! As described. Brenda was extremely responsive to messages. My family appreciated the labeling she had done, it made everything very easy to find. Anything you could want this place has it, from super comfortable beds, tons of space, clean, and beautiful views! We will definitely be back!

Tam is an excellent host. The lake is picturesque and peaceful. The property is nestled between mature evergreen trees. The house is newly renovated, light, white, bright. Kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. Lots of cleaning supplies. Tam was an exceptional communicator and very friendly. Appreciate the time!

Jennifer was an awesome host! Very kind, friendly, and responsive. Her property is beautiful and well cared for. The views of the pond from some of the windows are gorgeous! Thank you Amy! The house was clean, the beds were delicious… I slept less than I would have liked, they were amazing, and I wish I had gotten more sleep! I broke Amy’s shower and coffee table, but her communication with me was great. I apologized, she sent the damages and everything was fine. She was very kind and easy to talk to =) I would definitely stay again and absolutely recommend it. If I can give you one tip: put curtains closed on the windows to make it really dark… I can only think of how perfect the rooms would be! I wouldn’t get up anymore! hahahaha Thanks Amy!

Just lovely. Great WiFi, very modern and everything we needed. It was very clean and well set up with an awesome little guide about the house and surroundings! The host left out dog water bowl and food bowl and put out a dog blanket for us, which was very thoughtful. Will definitely be back.

Had a great stay with my boyfriend for my birthday and our anniversary. Super close to Main Street where there’s lots to do and close to Woodshole to catch the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard! Jefferson was very detailed and responsive making us feel right at home even before we checked in. Great cozy spot perfect for our trip would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay in a residential neighborhood -- correctly described as an apartment attached to the back of a family home. It's just a quick uber from the East Weymouth commuter line station. It's a walkable distance, but not a pedestrian-friendly route. The space was ultra-clean and the bed extremely comfortable. I recommend ordering in coffee and breakfast from the nearby creperie.

This cozy space in a beautiful coastal neighborhood was perfect for a 1-night stay for myself, my husband, and our two dogs. Hosts were friendly and easy to work with. We found everything we needed.

My boyfriend, our dogs and I had a great weekend getaway! It was quiet and peaceful, and the location was beautiful. There was plenty of space for all staying and Debra was very friendly and helpful. Huge choice of nearby restaurants and activities. The only downfall was inability to swim in the pond itself due to bacteria counts - totally out of Debra's control! She was able to give us recommendations on other swimming spots and we had a fantastic time swimming with our pups. Would absolutely recommend and hope to stay here again!

Beautiful lakeside getaway in a cozy woodland setting. The house is full of historical charm and personality. The view from the multiple decks are gorgeous and invite you to sit outside and really enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We absolutely loved it!

Such a cute cottage! Very nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the area - we were there to enjoy some biking and there are some great trails nearby. There is quite a bit of road noise (trucks, sirens) from the nearby highway - this was not noticeable inside the cottage but while we were on the deck. But it's still very nice to sit outside - we saw geese, swans, osprey, and gulls. A very pleasant place to enjoy a relaxing weekend.

Excellent stay. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. We rested well and were able to relax. We appreciated having laundry on site since we were on a 10-day trip. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. But that is a minor detail when you can watch the sunset over the peaceful water. Lisa communicated well and responded quickly. The house is easy to get to and stores are easy to travel to. Excellent location.

Leah responded to my booking request within minutes. This was so important because our previous reservations fell through. This was a last-minute booking and I’m so thankful that I was able to find such a wonderful location. Everything that was in the listing was accurate and we felt right at home after an easy check-in process. I cannot thank Leah and Brandon enough for their willingness to let us rent their beautiful cottage last minute. The home is fully stocked with anything that we may have needed. It was a little chilly, but the space heaters were enough to get us through the chilly nights. My kids and I were able to watch Halloween movies on the TV while gazing at the full moon from the skylight above in the living room. I’m looking forward to going back to Massachusetts in the future. There are so many different things that this town and surrounding towns offer.

Perfect layout and location for our annual visit to see my dad who lives across the pond!

The cottage was as described, quaint and cozy. We loved sitting by the pond with our morning coffee. Unfortunately, I had a medical issue and we had to cut the trip short. The hosts were kind and accommodating with the change.

Always clean and very comfortable, we find this a great place to stay. Chris is a great host and very accommodating. We visit the area often and have stayed at both this cottage and his larger rental on the waterfront where he allows water access to his dock and kayaks etc. (Highly recommended for larger families- it has a Beautiful view!) We will be back in the future. Always meets our needs just fine!
