Apartment vacation rentals in Playa Potrero, Costa Rica

The place was perfect for what we needed. Loved the pool just outside the front door. Everything was clean and comfortable. Definitely would recommend as a easy comfortable place to stay.

Everything was as advertised. Met with Travis at check in super friendly. He did mention the street noise as it was only loud motorcycles but after 9pm all was quiet. Not a ton of restaurants in the area but enough as we were only there for 4 days. Would recommend to family and friends.

Casa Aire was exactly as described and what we expected. They provided everything we needed with very clear communication from before we entered to the check out process. Agree with some of the other comments that it can be a little noisy, but it is in town and close by the main street, so you have to expect that. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

The best accommodation I have had in Tamarindo, I just leave and I already plan when I return, the apartment and place is as seen in the photos, clean organized and very well decorated, it rests very well, close to everything you want to explore in Tamarindo, variety of restaurants nearby and shop where you can buy what you need. Estefanía attended us very kindly and was flexible to our entrance since we had a wedding and required to get ready a little early. My daughter loves the place and my husband and I had a real rest as and for sure. One detail that is very nice is that you can appreciate the sunset very well from the pool. The pool area is very nice. Everything was excellent, I will definitely be back!!

Super great spot in Playa Grande, just a 15 minute walk from the beach. Shipping container has everything you need for your stay. Tatiana was an amazing host, super helpful and even gave us limes from her garden. Walls are a bit thin, so can get slightly noisy in the morning as it’s located along the main road.

we spent 3 weeks at Hans condo. we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening sunsets from the balcony with ocean view. we also enjoyed our swims in the large pool. the staff were very friendly and helpful. we would definitely staff again.

Gem of a place. Ideal for relaxation. Taking a break from wintery London. Amazing swimming pool. Deeper part for swimming, shallow part for kids. Beautiful gardens, secure gated location. Spotless 2 bedrooms. Smart TV. A/C. Fast extensive wifi. The day we booked it, it appeared to be best rated AirBnB in Costa Rica. It more than exceeded our expectations. Camille gave clear instructions on how to get to location. Make sure you follow them! Hosts Nick & Daniel answered all our questions, gave us tips on local beaches and places to eat. We did our own cooking, then other guests at venue offered to share their wonderful BBQ food on couple of evenings which was fantastic, made our stay. We will be back if we can, but suspect it might be fully booked for our next visit. Bit of a bumpy road (500 metres) into property, but our Toyota Yaris rental handled it fine enough. It is 10 minutes walk to local beaches, 5-10 minutes drive to other Playas, including our favourites Flamingo & Conchal

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Toni, the local host, and Antonio the groundskeeper/maintenance person, were both excellent and helpful. Toni was there to greet us when we arrived, even though we were early. She answered all our questions quickly throughout our stay and was friendly and helpful with recommendations. She was very accommodating when we had to extend our trip due to airline delays and also helped us with international calling. Antonio was super helpful. He kept the grounds looking great, including the pool, and we had a fresh supply of towels any time we needed them. Antonio is very calm and good natured. He only speaks Spanish and we have limited ability, but we all made it work and had several laughs about it. If we return to Tamarindo we will definitely stay here again. The pictures are accurate. The place is right on the beach with good surfing close by. We surfed every day.

This place is beautiful! Really nice decor and spacious. It has nice eco friendly details like reusable shampoo and conditioner bottles. The kitchen is well equiped. Good location. It is walkable, but a with an uphill section. Tamarindo is a great place were you can find a lot of places to eat, and in this place you can choose to stay indoors and relax. We visited the place with little kids so, if you are concerned about the kids safety, I'll recommend to look for a place in the first floor and without stairs.

Great place to stay the pool area is great and the room had everything we needed if we ever needed anything they were quick to answer such a great place to stay.

This condo was great! The location in Potrero was excellent, the beach and ocean were right out the back door and a bunch of great restaurants were a short walk away. The directions provided were easy to follow and we appreciated having the assigned parking space for our rental car. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony at sunset and appreciated having the opportunity to do some laundry after having made the drive from La Fortuna. We would definitely consider staying here again if our travels take us back to Costa Rica, we had a wonderful time.

The perfect location with an amazing view. Chris was an amazing host. Proactive communication so it was easy to find and get settled. The place was beautiful and exactly what I expected and needed for a restful stay. Will recommend to all my friends.

Such a wonderful little spot, right in the heart of Las Catalinas. The studio was immaculately clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The space is perfect for a couple or family with smaller kids. The bed was super comfy and the studio was beautifully decorated… it’s a very relaxing and cozy spot. The proximity and access to the Beach Club was a nice perk! Diana was very responsive and provided us with so many great suggestions during the stay. Thanks for such a memorable stay! We will definitely return.

Excellent attention, we made the reservation at the last minute and it was accepted in less than 5 minutes, the whole moment was attentive on arrival, the place is cozy just to spend the night, the kitchen had everything you need to cook, air, TV with apps, the bed very comfortable. Very nice

Tomas’s place was absolutely perfect for me and my friends stay in Tama. Great location—close to everything but tucked away just enough for peace and quiet. The pool was beautiful and clean. The place itself was extremely clean, SO cute, and cozy. It was beautifully decorated and had every kitchen appliance you can imagine. Tomas was so friendly and flexible with our plans, he respected our space but was very responsive when messaging back and forth. Can’t say good enough things about this place and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Tama!

Such a fun spot a walk away from the beautiful beaches in Conchal. We loved laying in the hammock on the porch listening to the nearby monkeys, birds and bugs. Andre was so kind to share with us some extra hidden gems around, such a peaceful place. Thank you!

Great place in a wonderful location/community. Hot tub was excellent, community pool and Garcia restaurant were great as well. It was super quiet and peaceful here with tons of birds to watch from the deck. Super easy drives to local towns and beaches. Host communicates extremely well and provides thorough instructions, quick responses, and activity suggestions. This place was super clean, comfy bed, and the views were insane. We’d stay here again if ever in the area! Highly recommend booking.

Nice building in a great location with a nice pool area, quiet and just away from the city centre. Furnishings in the unit are a bit dated and blinds are see through so when the sun is up, so are you. Some great restaurants within a 2 minute walk as well.

Arun was an exceptional host, tending to every request or question. We had few issues, however, if something came up it was taken care of in a timely fashion. The quality of the appliances and furniture was top notch! This "home" was spacious beyond - beds were so comfortable, with the best linens. Breakfasts which were served on the top terrace daily was a perfect way to start the day - and servers at this "resort" were beyond kind and efficient. We will definitely return. Very grateful for this experience.

Our 3 bedroom condo in the Peninsula Resort was a lovely place to spend Thanksgiving break with our college daughters and my 80 year old parents. The kitchen was really well-appointed, the beds were very comfortable, the rooms were spacious and well-furnished, the rooftop view was terrific for sunsets, the pool was perfect for swimming laps and cooling off, the gate staff was friendly and helpful, the beach was a short walk away and the iguanas in the trees were fun to watch. It was hard to leave and go home to winter.

The space was perfect and had everything we needed for our family to be comfortable during our vacation.

We’d 100% come back & stay! Having the beach club was incredible and the location was incredible. I’d just say new bathroom towels, Kleenex & a bar of soap in showers would really step it up!

Great host … the pool is so unique - it made me feel like a kid again. I highly recommend this place - we loved our experience and the Property was amazing!
