Monthly Rentals in Playa de la Carihuela

We were met by Ainoa who was lovely, explaining everything, and letting us know we could contact her at any time. Also Julia checked in with us plenty, this made us feel very secure. The apartment was great, and very well laid out for two of us. There were all sorts of little extras that made us feel right at home, including a lovely surprise in the fridge for us. Unfortunately some construction work had just started on a plot next to the building, this was noisy and did disturb us, so we couldn't use the lovely, shady terrace as much as we would have liked. However, we were only 5 minutes from the beach, so spent our time there. The location is great, right behind the Carihuela, with all the bars and restaurants close by. Aldi is about a 10 minute walk away for supplies. We were also able to walk to Benalmadena marina ,and the other way to Torremolinos centre. We enjoyed our stay, and would happily stay here again. Apartment was lovely and replicated exactly as per photographs. Ana Maria was in the apartment to meet us on arrival which was much appreciated and she communicated with us during our stay. We would definitely book the apartment again on our return visit to lovely La Carihuela.

We’ve been to this area few times now, searching for a place that gives all that we want, and I think we have finally found it! Incredible views from the terrace, modern well-equipped living space (inc. beach chairs, shopping trolley, air fryer, much more than expected), open kitchen (you have a panoramic view of the sea whilst preparing food!), cozy living room, great air-con, lovely pool with very relaxing surrounding area (including BBQ area that you can book for free!), walking distance (maybe just 5-7 minutes) from the promenade and ‘restaurant street’ – the apartment offered everything that we’ve been looking for over the last few years, and we felt cozy and at home there, and the local area is just magical! Hosts Herman & Eric are the loveliest people you will ever meet, and even helped us several times when we contacted them out of desperation with issues that were nothing to do with them or the apartment, which was so kind of them. Can't wait to return next year! :)

Spacious and bright apartment, very quiet location with plenty of storage space and a well-equipped kitchen. Beach and shop 5 minutes walk. We appreciated the sea water pool which we mostly had to ourselves. We lacked oil, pepper, salt in the kitchen, which was stated in the description of the accommodation. The electric stove is quite underpowered (slow), but we used mostly the microwave. There is no light above the mirror in the bathroom, but the floor lamp from the room solved that. Check-out is supposed to be by 12, but we were told that we have to move out by 11 at the latest.
