Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Platanias

The apartment is located in a quiet area. We recommend a rental car as the road connections are good and close. Within 10 minutes in Chania, e.g. The apartment has everything you need for a stay. The barbecue and garden are of course the highlights of the apartment. Since we traveled a lot during the day, it was very pleasant to spend the warm evenings grilling in the garden.

Amazing people, very helpful and great to be around with. Mixalis and his wife were very kind and caring and we had a great time getting to know them. Evelina was the source of all information, very responsive and friendly. When things came up she was very quick to respond and assisted us as much as possible, she also provided various tips on what to see and how to get around this beautiful place. The place itself was clean and beautiful, close to local cafes, shops and the old town. This will definitely be our go to place when we come back to Chania!

Lovely stay, in a lovely house with a wonderfully attentive and kind host. Really good position for touring Western Crete, a car is obviously a must but the drives to places are really spectacular ( most drives are just over the hour to the south and west coasts). We did stay in November which sees very quiet roads and deserted beaches - like most of the Greek Islands the shoulder months are the time to see them at their very best. We would love to come back in Spring.

This home was amazing. The pictures are accurate. It’s about 20 minutes (or so) to some great beaches and a 2 minute walk to a great taverna. For me, the best asset was that almost every available outside wall was either a huge window or a sliding door, that let in the light, breeze and sound of the ocean. My one suggestion would be that if you’re planning on cooking or using the kitchen, bring your food along. From a shopping perspective, the nearest mini market is not that close. This is a beautiful spot worth enjoying.

The listing is spotless and as described. The location is ideal for walking, the old town, the coast, the restaurants nearby... In the evening the neighborhood is lively but all the sound insulation of the apartment is amazing! We sleep quietly! The rooftop with sea view and obviously a big plus to settle in and have breakfast or aperitivo in the sun!

This place was one of our best vacation rentals ever! We had plenty of space, and Eva was very kind with her recommendations. This home contributed to Crete being our favorite locale of our holiday.

As a young family our stay at Gianna’s was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of space in the garden for the kids to play and a playground to use, A grill in the yard, sun beds and a hammock to rest and read a book. A 10-15 minute walk to the main beach and restaurants. A great location to start the incredible hike to the gorge with Monastery.

Great location, fabulous food recommendations from Alkis. We loved Manis and Woodstock for breakfast both overlooking the pretty harbour. Everything there you need for a lovely stay. Spacious, quiet and close to the beach etc. Parking was a bit tricky but we always found a spot close by. Host was so friendly and close by if we needed anything. Highly recommend a stay here.

Very warm, personal welcome. The appartment was very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. We were welcomed with fresh fruits, a bottle of wine and water. The view was amazing!

We had a lovely stay at Mary’s apartment. Her mother greeted us when we arrived and we were able to have early check in. She had prepared lovely lunch for us and treated us with her lovely food during our stay. Mary provided us many useful tips. The apartment situated in a quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. It was very well equipped. Would love to stay there again!

Everything worked out very well. The technology and condition in the apartment were also impeccable. Britta greeted us personally with her husband and showed us everything in the apartment. She had sent us some links to restaurants and breakfast cafes in advance. These were very helpful The area also seemed to be safe and on Wednesdays there is a weekly market at the doorstep. The way to the city was very easy and easy to master. Excursions such as Balos Beach, Kourtaliotis Gorge, Lake Kournas and Elafonissi beach were also easily accessible by car. If we vacation in Chania again, we would love to stay with Britta again.

We spent a great week in Chania in this flat. Check-in was super easy, location is perfect, the flat is very spacious and stylish with all the amenities you might want or need and it has a fantastic view of the old town to top it all. Manos is a great host, highly recommended !

Amazing stay in this beautiful apartment. The huge balcony has the most amazing view over the beautiful bay! You can watch the sunrise while eating a home cooked meal from up there😊! The bed is comfortable and big, the bathroom was nice and water pressure was great in the shower. A really lovely place. It’s a great base for exploring since parking is free on the street. It took us 20-25 minutes to walk to the city from the apartment. I would definitely stay here again in the future 👌🏼

The appartment was as at the photos Spyros has upload at the listing with everything needed even for a family with a little kid. Spyros was very responsive and helpful on whatever we asked for. Regarding the location, Nea Chora is the best neighborhood at Chania if someone needs to be close in walking distance to the city center and old harbor and needless to have a car to move around.

The place was very clean. Maria was always available. The washer didn’t work but she washed the cloths and we hung them out. It was a. 22 minute walk to old town harbor. Maria provided a lot of basics. Coffee, olive oil, sugar salt, breakfast cake and she even made us some excellent homemade local food. Do good! Thank you.

A very well appointed & tasteful flat. You feel right at home and we could have stayed longer. In particular, the kitchen was equipped with everything you could ask for. Konstantinos and his wife were very kind and helpful. We would definitely rebook this apartment.

The apartment lived up to and exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Chania and it's surroundings.

The apartment unit is beautiful, very modern, spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. We felt safe walking around. We rented a car and there were lots of free street parking available. John and Anastasia were very helpful and answered all our questions promptly which we appreciated very much. We had a wonderful stay in Chania and would highly recommend.

Zoe is a great host, very detailed, thoughtful and responsive. The apartment is also in a great location and an easy walk to the center of old town. The only downside for us is that it had no parking and finding parking during the day or before midnight was challenging. Other than that I highly recommend this apartment.

A very nice loft type (high ceilings) apartment with a nice open kitchen. Balcony has an optimal sun orientation both for the morning and the afternoon ( in november). Totally quiet. Adonis is a very good host. Good tips and reacts within minutes.

Really enjoyed the apartment even the many stairs were not a problem! The sound of the sea was beautiful crashing waves.

Lovely Apartment and Gardens halfway between the Shops and Beach so couldn'tbe in a better place. Easy access to Chania airport and the rest of Western Crete. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay somewhere super relaxed but still close to all the local amenities.
