The property was very well maintained and the host was very friendly and ensured we had s pleasant stay. He gave us suggestions about places to be visited around and called up multiple times to check on us and ensured we were all sorted.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Thanjuvar, this is it. From the warm welcome from the whole family who were very helpful throughout, to the lovely home cooked food, and spacious rooftop accommodation. Padman, the son who is based in London, went above and beyond to help on a range of matters specifically transportation and train tickets. For that, our whole trip wouldn’t have been the same and we’re very grateful. The accommodation itself is set away from the main building and is clean, comfortable with a small kitchen area that includes a fridge and amenities supplied such as coffee and tea. The main temple is around 20 mins walk and the rooftop was a lovely place to relax afterwards. Highly recommend.

Host was responsive, immediately provided contact information of the property caretaker, accomodated our early arrival in the morning and allowed us to checkout a couple of hours late. Caretaker responded to our phone call when we arrived in the wee hours before dawn and was there to let us in. Caretaker was also willing to run errands for us to get groceries, milk and others. Caretaker introduced us to an auto driver who lives nearby. Auto was only a phone call way. We were able to go wherever we wanted to whenever we wanted. The house was clean, well furnished, and all air conditioners and appliances were in good working condition. The kitchen was spacious with with full set of utensils, gas stove with two gas cylinders. Front and backyard were verdant with a number of plants. The neighborhood is a high end neighborhood. Several jewellers and even one college owner live in that neighborhood. Big temple is five minutes and Palace is about 10 minutes away by auto.

The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They quickly addressed any minor issues and made sure I had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again
