Great stay! Nice surroundings and close to good terrain. Really nice set up on the inside with plenty of room. Comfy furniture.

I had a long stay here and it was perfect! The place is new and was very clean. kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Fawn was a great host and was always quick to help with any questions I had. Enjoyed my stay so much!

This was our second time staying at the Opal and it was just as amazing as the first time! We stayed in October 2024 for our honeymoon and it was magical. It's so quiet, private, and relaxing. The big tall windows let so much light induring the day and we had a full moon during our stay this time which was equally amazing! The hot tub and campfire were a pleasure as always, and the weather was perfect for both. We loved visiting our friends Rosie, Posie, and Stella and giving them treats. Billie is always super responsive and helpful and makes the stay easy and worry-free. We are so excited to come back this Oct for our anniversary!

We came for a weekend and went to the Rose Valley Animal Park which is right around the corner. The cottage was so cute and came with snacks, an keurig and farm fresh eggs. We loved that the mini horses were right outside and you could sit on the porch and watch them. The goats were really friendly too and there were some adorable babies! We also fell in love with one of the cats that likes to hang out there. Basically if you are an animal lover this is a great place!
