Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Phu Quoc

Our room at Stella Marina was comfortable and also included breakfast in the bar area downstairs. They make a good coffee there too! Photo listings are accurate but before coming here we couldn’t really grasp the setup and the local area, so here’s a bit on that... It’s only a few minutes walk to the communal pool and the beach and we loved both. The pool (there are 3 next to each other) are great but it’s peak season and they got busy. still, we always managed to get a lounger and some shade. There’s a few local restaurants, massage places and a mini mart nearby as well as small night market. For more pricey, western options there’s a bunch of eateries at the Intercontinental hotel and Pullman. Both an easy walk. Phu Quoc has loads of ghost towns and while there’s lots of empty places here too, we really enjoyed the peaceful laid back vibes. Curious what it will become in the future but as it is we really enjoyed our stay. Great for families with young kids or nomads like us!

The accommodation is the same as the photos, the only shortcoming is that there is not enough hot water in the room for everyone to take a shower at the same👍🏼 time, everything else is very good, the staff responded quickly and were eager to help, recommended

Nguyen's place was exactly as described in the listing. He was an excellent host and responded very promptly. Unit was very comfortable with good A/C, hotwater, maid service (as per arrangement), free transportation to/ from from airport and a kitchen. Whatever Nguyen was responsible he was very good at it. Now for issues beyond Nguyen's control: Nightly market very nearby; however mainly food stalls that compared to Vietnamese standards, they charged ridiculous prices for the meals that were mainly BBQ.i This is due to fact that rental of the space that they occupy was terribly expensive. They have to charge enough to cover the rental. Looking around the area, there are many, many buildings that are unoccupied. So the owners have to recoup somewhat from the food vendors which ends up on pockets of tourists. Vicious circle. Beach was OK and not to far. As a result, I would not imagine going back to Phu Quoc, especially not in that area of Sonasea. Sorry, but that's how I see it.

I would definitely stay here again when visiting Phu Quoc with my family! Diu was very helpful with check in and checking out. Toan was a very considerate host. Near the villa we booked, he offered several replacement options, which we never regretted - the new villa was closer to the sea. Tuan also helped with booking a car, a motorbike, with the exchange of money, was always in touch and quickly responded to all our requests The pool was cleaned every day and the villa itself is very clean I liked everything, many thanks

I stayed here with my family on my trip the Vietnam. The place was clean and the service was very good. They took care of our every need including providing us we a free upgrade to accommodate our large family. The helped us with our daily trips around island.
