It was a wonderful place! Peaceful but the road leading to the place was a bit cramped and if you have a big car it will be quite troublesome. Everything was clean and spotless but there was one time the water almost went out while I was showering. All in all, it was quite a pleasant stay.

The place was about 5 mins walk from the main road and 2-3 mins walk to the beach. Bring your umbrellas out because you’ll be walking under the sun. The place is complete! The caretakers were so accommodating and friendly. A little setback would be the none to weak network signal but thankfully there’s wifi available. Highly hospitable people and would highly recommend to other friends. Worth every peso!

Like most surfers Jens is laid back and living the island life. What was impressive is that Jens himself built Mahogany house personally so you can tell he put his heart into the build. People always have to be mindful that you are on a tropical island which will include mosquitos, power outages and probably a few roosters. But hey that's island life! Jens was super responsive and nothing was a hassle which made the stay calm and peaceful. He has a ripper spot right in the heart of GL and everything is at your fingertips. Maybe Jens you are related to Floki the great boatbuilder who is good with woodwork and loves the ocean! Thanks for accommodating us mate 🤙🏻🤙🏻

The whole place was really clean and it feels comfy. Overall it was spacious and good for big groups. I give the place a five star. The only thing we had to comment about was when we were about to check out, we were supposed to check out at 12noon and it was only around 11:45am and the electricity in the whole house suddenly shut down. it was super hot that time and we were still packing our stuff. I don’t know if there was an electricity problem in the whole village or is it standard for the place to shut down at exactly the time of the check out.
