This was a very memorable trip - Irini‘s warmth and kindness are unparalleled. She is an exceptional host, making it easy to plan a trip to Ikaria. The place was very clean and you can see the attention she puts into welcoming her guests. You truly feel like you are at home when you book with her.

The apartment in the basement of the house with terrace is fantastic. The tranquility there cannot be beat. We spent hours just looking at the sea and enjoying nature, watching animals and even seeing a dolphin. The apartment is functional and nicely furnished. The large bed is very comfy. Sensational are the good windows with mosquito repellent windows for pushing. Brilliant. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and provided with Greek specialties during our stay. Dimitris doesn't speak German, Despina English, but you can do it with hands and feet. The space on the terrace and the hammock are awesome next to the completely private stone bay 5 minutes below the house. The small village with two restaurants is a 10-15 minute walk. The small shops have a good selection and the upper close to the church also has the good Vikos water, but you should shop on the way from the airport behind Kambos or in Gialiskari. Armenistis is very expensive.

Could not have asked for a more perfect place or a more hospitable host. Wish we could have stayed longer. Incredibly kind and thoughtful. Thank you and hope to stay again soon.

Perfect stay. Very beautiful and quiet surroundings, an amazing place to wake up. Stathoula is a wonderful host, offering delicious food from her garden. She made our stay very special and we hope to return. πολύ καλό !
