Retro Retreat

PatrickRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Our stay at Retro Retreat was exceptional! The hosts were very friendly and responsive from booking through checkout. We really enjoyed our time in this beautiful part of PA. As it was our first trip to the area and a six hour drive from our home, we had a few concerns but Aden was very accessible and considerate. The RV was amazing! It was so much fun to stay in, as opposed to a hotel. The night sky was beautiful and being far from a metropolis, the amount of stars we were able to see was surreal. We definitely plan to return to the area and Retro Retreat will be our first choice for accommodations.
A spacious grassy area is showcased, surrounded by tall trees with lush green leaves. The blue sky above is dotted with a few clouds, creating a peaceful outdoor environment that invites relaxation and enjoyment of nature.

***Welcome Ricketts Glen Hikers

GloriaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We enjoyed camping at Jaqueline’s home space. They were very accommodating when we requested a different spot! It wasn’t as private as the pictures lead but that means the “amenities” are close. A fridge to put cold stuff in, outlets to charge your phone and porta pots. They check in on you often (maybe too much 😊) and their house is in the same place your camping area is so they are always close by. I didn’t love all the metal and wooden furniture pieces all over the property but we still enjoyed nature, the creek walk, having a campfire and falling asleep to the rain! NOTE: wood is $13/11 small pieces of wood

1941 Restored Vintage Caboose w/ WiFi & Netflix

NancyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Very fun and different kind of stay - and we happened to be there on the night of an open house next door at the old train station where the model train club meets. We saw the huge model train set-up in the back room. The caboose was clean and very comfortable. Great hosts, fast to respond.

Waterfall Solar Cabin and Skoolie (Feat. on HGTV)

ChicoRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We enjoyed our stay at Adam and Karen’s tiny house, the house was cozy and the surroundings were beautiful. We were lucky to have great weather and made use of the wood stove. Their recommendations for where we should go locally were awesome. We would love to one day have a space like it and will be back next year for the spring. It was definitely worth it!!!!! Thanks again Adam and Karen.

Halfmoon Hollow Campground

JakeRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Elle was extremely amiable, and was easy to communicate with. The setting was a great woodsy outdoor campsite that could easy house a small family (2-3 humans plus dogs) for a weekend or however long getaway. Location was an easy 15-20 minutes from the nearest walmart and shopping section and 5 minutes away from a local gas station. Stay was simple, fun, and good to get out of drywall and fiberglass boxes for a bit.

Cute 30foot camper nestled in the Laurel Highlands

MichelleRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Best fire wood EVER - made for the most enjoyable fires! Slept quite well in the bed. The kids loved the bunk beds. Good cell service in area , yet was nice to “disconnect” and not have tv or streaming. The kids loved the movies and we had fun playing cards after the fire one evening. Ohiopyle park is amazing. Braddock Stone restaurant yummy and priced well. The Christmas Shop was special and has something for everyone.

Glamping at Camp Bluestone Hike, bike, golf, fish

LauraRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This was my first time ever Glamping and I will say that it was truly an experience! I mean, the fact that I was able to take a picture of the night sky full of stars and it shows on my phone literally left me speechless! Lisa’s glamp tent provided the feel of camping with a little upgrade of having a bed, heater, and even towels if you may need it. My trip was sadly only a day’s worth but I made sure to take advantage of the common area she offered which was equipped with running water and toilet, a fridge and stove, grills for outdoor gatherings, lawn games and much more! I will note that although glamping is a bit of an upgrade, make sure to prepare yourself as if you were actually camping and bring the necessities like a lighting match and a lantern as it gets very dark out! It was unfortunate that the little light Lisa provided was dead and not of use and she wasn’t able to stop by with a replacement but it did remind me to be more prepared for my next trip! Thanks again Lisa!

Dragon House - Hot Tub, Mini Golf, Pet Friendly

YvonneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Honestly, if your house matches the description and photos, and is clean, I will always rate a 5. The Dragon house was both of those and I REALLY loved all the little dragon touches--we all did! They are everywhere, I don't want to spoil it, but we kept saying, oh that is a dragon! Oh, you put that in the dragon bucket, etc. But again, most importantly, no surprises, and in fact she had more than we expected in terms of paper towels, toilet paper, etc. I have rented house where there weren't even extra trash liners (no biggie, the description didn't say), but she had all of it and it was just a very peaceful stay. Oh, also, I don't think she says enough about the TVs? I had expected 2 but there are FOUR and they are massive. While we only used the 1, it was very surprising, in a positive way! We for sure would book again.

Hidden Brook Glamping site 1

ChristiRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Lovely stay - so peaceful and pretty! Booked last minute for a quick weekend in Honesdale and campsite was as advertised. Roomy tent, nice bed, convenient amenities including basic cooking utensils and a kettle and pot, and quiet / private site. Our dog also really loved exploring the surroundings! Unfortunately the weather turned the night we stayed, so it dropped to below freezing inside the tent. The provided blankets were cozy, but fortunately we brought extra sleeping bags and blankets for the unexpected temperatures. Thank you 🙏

Serenity Airstream at Apple Blossom Farm HT Extra$

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Everything was Exceptional. Spotless, immaculate, homey & cozy. Certainly 5 stars. Despite it being winter, we were warm and comfortable. Elizabeth provides all the information between a binder and an iPad video. we enjoyed the Bluetooth speakers which we took out to the hot tub. that along with the outdoor bulbs really made an inviting atmosphere. Alot of thought was put into all the details inside and outside. the horses, donkeys, and highland yearling are a true bonus. we loved feeding them treats, petting & talking with them all. Peaceful, lovely property with plenty of privacy. Elizabeth responded quickly with all texts & is a kind, friendly soul.

Creekside Haven at the Farm - Site #1

LeahRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had the perfect glamping experience! It felt like camping but without all the effort. The hosts thought of everything, including plenty of firewood, and the goats made for some pretty fun neighbors! We really appreciated the warm welcome and tour of the property when we arrived. The entire site was very clean, and the bed was super comfy—everything was beautifully decorated. Mornings were so peaceful, sipping great coffee on the deck by the creek, and at night, the stars were incredible. The host was easy to communicate with and always responded promptly, making the whole experience even smoother. The site was stocked with everything we needed—eating utensils, propane, a grill and grilling utensils, condiments, and more. A storm rolled through during our stay, but the tent held up just fine. We’ll definitely be back, and next time we’re excited to try out campsite #2, which has even more to offer than this already amazing setup!

Cottage for two on over a 100 acre horse rescue

MirtaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Connie and Marty, Thank you for this unique experience to stay on your horse rescue farm. We chose your place to have quality mother/ daughter time, to rest, enjoy nature and interact with the horses, ponies, donkeys, goats and your amazing dogs. The bonus was learning about the horses and how they each have a sweet personality, despite what they have been through. Your rescue is doing an amazing job. We hope to return. Thank you!

Family & Pet Friendly RV on 3 Private Acres

My family had a nice long weekend at Mike and Debbie's camper. The camper is quite large, clean, and has everything you need. The outside space is well set up and large. My lab thought she had died and gone to doggy heaven with all the space to run. Mike was very responsive and always replied quickly. Location is private but close enough to plenty of things to do.
