Barn vacation rentals in Pennsylvania

Our favorite place to stay when we come to Lancaster. It is so relaxing and we always enjoy the food items Sara leaves for us. Very clean!

Stayed with two kids and two dogs. The dogs and I loved walking around the property. It snowed and we had sleds to use. We all enjoyed the house. Marshall shoveled the sidewalks twice for us. Wood for the fireplace, coffee and a pantry full of incidental stuff like syrup and plastic bags. 20 minutes from ohiopyle and seven springs we had a lovely time.

Second time staying here with my dog buddy. I finally got to meet the owners and their dog Oscar. Super nice couple and sweet dog. This was just the vacation I needed to be in the countryside and work on arts and crafts and just hang out.

Beautiful sustainable farm! Our kids loved interacting with the animals and picking and eating the fresh fruits and vegetables from their varied farm. Nancy and Richard were wonderful hosts and gave a wealth of farming knowledge and experience. We definitely got a lot more than we anticipated! We all had a lovely stay and hope to visit again!

A great place to stay for a weekend of basketball at spookynook. It was conveniently located, clean, cozy and comfortable. We were warmly welcomed by hosts and their animals. We loved feeding the horse!

This adorable revamped barn was the perfect weekend get away. My friends and I celebrated my 30th Birthday and this was the perfect setting. We woke up to the sun shining in the house and we enjoyed our coffee over the most beautiful picturesque backyard. The trees still had a few colorful leaves left on them and the horses grazed the field. We don’t have a single negative thing to say about this home.

Our family loved being one with nature. Each day we had multiple deer hang in the yard. Loved the decor throughout the house. Very comfortable, would visit again.

We stayed with our family of 5 (3 kids age 5 and under) and were very comfortable in the guest house. The loft bedroom is very spacious and the beds very comfortable. The farm and surrounding area is peaceful and the kids loved seeing the animals. Easy drive to Knoebels. It was a great little getaway for our family.

This place is a great stay to get away from life to relax, celebrate, and take in some beautiful scenery. We rocked in the new years at the farmhouse and it was overall a great experience! They were even nice enough to give us a welcome bottles of drinks and New Years hats! The only issue we had was entering the access code that was provided. Called the host, and she was very responsive and gave an alternative way of unlocking so no major setbacks of checking in! We hope we were good house guests as we left it as best as we could when we first arrived. Thank you again for everything! Would recommend this countryside gem!

Had an amazing relaxing long weekend in this cozy cabin! I will start with the house is meticulously clean. I am very OCD about cleanliness…. I normally clean when I arrive to a rental. I didn’t have to do that bc the house was so clean…. Beds are very comfortable, bed linens soft and plush, with plenty of pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with almost every cooking utensil you could need, if you need to cook. When we arrived it was a cold winter day. The host had the heat on! The house was welcoming and toasty! The house is set back in a picturesque hill side. Very quiet and peaceful. There is no noise from road or anything. There is a deck along the back of the house, great place to read or have a morning cup of coffee… The hosts are so kind, very quick response and helpful in anyway. It snowed while we were there and the host came out cleaned the walk ways and our car! Loved this place we will definitely be back.

We loved that this place was out of town and had a great view of surrounding farms. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The only issue we had was that the room is above a working barn, so we heard people in and out of the barn early in the morning. It wasn’t extremely loud, but if you sleep light it might be an issue.

This is the perfect spot for a quick getaway. Anastasia was super quick to respond with any questions. The horses they have on the property are absolutely gorgeous and super friendly. Great area for hiking and lots of waterfalls to see as well.

My wife and I loved our stay in this cottage! It was the perfect location for a long weekend getaway. We were only minutes away from New Hope, Peddlers Village, and Doylestown, but when we were in the cottage we felt like we could disconnect and relax. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace and board games when we were snowed in one evening, and we were able to explore the hiking trails in the snow the next morning. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Anne and Mark are wonderful hosts. They made our stay feel both welcoming yet private, were very responsive and communicative, and overall made us feel right at home. We will be sure to book with them again if we’re in the area again.

Michelle is a wonderful host and the property is equally as wonderful! It is literal heaven on earth to me. What a dream to stay in such an incredible space. It’s so peaceful and quiet and so lovely to be outside and walking around. We will definitely come back! I just can’t say enough about Michelle and the barn!!

I needed some R&R at a quiet location which was close to my oldest son’s place. This location did the trick. My youngest son and I enjoyed this house and our time together. Super kudos to Kerri who was a great hostess making sure all was great given we had a few cold nights.

Beautiful property with outdoor activities in every direction. The house was immaculately clean, spacious, and very well equipped! Penny (the donkey) was a sweetheart, and watching storms roll over the nearby hills was a thunderous treat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for rural peace and incredible night skies.

Excellent location. We were a small group (4) but easily could fit 10 or more and with multiple relaxation spaces. Great for a family gathering such as a holiday or reunion.

Beautiful old home. Felt right at home and had everything you needed to enhance vacation. We had a wonderful time with our kids for a quick weekend away and skied at Liberty Resort. The kitchen had a coffee pot, coffee press, tea kettle all the things that matter for those cozy mornings! Bedrooms comfortable. There are steep stairs, they were not a problem but worth noting if you have mobility issues. They do accept pets and the house was spotless with no trace of animals. We loved it!

It’s not easy to find a place where 10 adults and 8 kids can all stay, play, sleep, eat, and shower comfortably— believe me, we did a lot of looking! But Sue’s place was all that and more. It’s spacious, comfortable, impeccably clean, and well-stocked. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms and separate seating areas with games and televisions and comfortable seating. The game barn is super fun and the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. Sue met us at check in to show us around and was super friendly and helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. We enjoyed our vacation immensely, largely thanks to having such a great place to stay.
