The house was lovely. Great views, walking distance to the beach. Loved seeing dolphins while sitting on the verandah. Liz was great with communication. The house was well stocked with supplies. Overall a great place to stay.

Eva's place was nice and modern. The selection of amenities was nice and the location is very convenient to walk around the town of Kingscote.

The guys enjoyed their stay here... the placed is as described although I believe the view was understated - amazing was the word used. Thanks you so much!

Our stay at Marine Cottage in Emu Bay was nothing short of spectacular. The cottage is charming and well-equipped, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts, Peter and Jo, are very friendly and approachable, making the stay even more enjoyable. Marine Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the many attractions of Kangaroo Island. The nearest beach is just a short walk away. After the sunset, we spotted the cutest little penguins on the beach and in front of the cottage! Overall, Marine Cottage offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the best of Kangaroo Island!

We loved our stay at Sam’s place. Island Beach is absolutely stunning, so peaceful and quiet and private, but close enough to Penneshaw and activities to keep us amused. Authenticity Beachhouse was so well situated, with great sea views, and had heaps of space and amenities perfect for our family of four…with an extra room to spare. Sam has thought of everything, and we loved all of the little extras he provided that helped make our holiday more fun - boogie boards, snorkel equipment, beach chairs and tent, lots of outdoor and indoor seating, plus the Hamptons style decor was so lovely. Thanks for a really lovely stay Sam. Our kids have already asked when we are coming back to visit again!

Our family of six adults and two children had a wonderful week in Copperstone in early December 2024. The house is modern, clean and comfortable and has air conditioning, which is needed, especially in the warmer months. The kitchen is well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. We were privileged to experience Kangaroos in the front garden and Koalas in the back garden. As there are no places to purchase provisions in Emu Bay, we would have appreciated a welcome package/gift to include the basic necessities including bread, cereal etc. The nearest supermarket is Drakes in Kingscote, where you can purchase general groceries, meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables. There is a well-stocked bottle-shop in the next street. These facilities are approximately 15 minutes by car (4 wheel recommended) from the house. I recommend this property which overlooks beautiful Emu Bay and is well located. We left feeling that we all had a unique experience and were rejuvenated.

The property was absolutely beautiful, it was squeaky clean when we arrived and just felt like home. Kevin was so helpful in recommending places to eat etc and was very responsive to any messages/questions. The area itself is very quiet so perfect for our family with a toddler. Would also be ideal for 3 couples and a few children!! We loved our time on the island and would happily recommend Kevin and his property. Our only complaint is that we didn’t book for longer!

We loved staying here with our two young children. The pool and spa are wonderful and the inside space is great. We loved playing the old school board games. We’d love to stay again next time we go to Carrickalinga.

Great house for a group of people. Bedrooms were a good size, big fenced yard to play in and a very equipped kitchen. Having to bring linen is a bit of a pain but otherwise a great house. Beautiful location, we saw kangaroos and echidnas from the balcony. We would book again.

We absolutely loved our stay! We just had twins so thought it was time to have our first family getaway and Narelle was very accommodating. Narelle was also very responsive with messaging and very helpful. The house was very lovely and equipped with everything to make us feel at home. We can't wait to come back again! Thank you

We had a lovely few days at Villa 66! The accomodation was clean, spacious, had all the facilities we required, and more! The host was friendly and responsive. The kids are looking forward to returning soon.

Beautiful villa with lots of space for a joint family holiday. Great games room for the kids with extra futon beds. Big open deck and open plan lounge and kitchen area with lots of natural light. Onsite pool is fantastic and heated. Nice natural grounds and surroundings. Short walk 1.2km along beach to Normanville. Would definitely stay again.

One of the best places we have stayed in locally. We felt right at home, the place was secure and we instantly felt relaxed. The home was extremely clean and Alex was very responsive with communication. We will definitely be booking again. Jane

We stayed at Sean's plane with 3 mums and 4 teenager daughters for a little getaway. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious and the perfect balance of relaxing and entertaining. We had a great time and will definatley be back.

We had such a beautiful stay at Cara. The house was clean and just as described. We loved being so close to the beach and having a comfortable home to return to after our long beach days.

We loved our stay at Liam’s place! The location was perfect, just a short walk to a stunning and family-friendly beach. The house was great for our young family, with a large well equipped kitchen and a lovely outdoor deck. We enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings and daily visits from wallabies, which the kids loved. Liam was very responsive, friendly and helpful with recommendations. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We highly recommend the „Cheeky Wren“ and are already planning our next visit to Kangaroo Island.

The messages prior were very helpful and informative about Kangaroo Island. Excellent home. Very functional. nice view. We were very impressed with how clean it was, you can tell it was cleaned properly, no grime, not like a lot of places. One of the cleanest bnb we have stayed at. Left us some local food and wine to enjoy. Beds were so comfy. Thanks again, we will be back!

LOVED our stay at Jo’s place. It has such a beautiful view over the Penneshaw coastline, and we saw dolphins playing out the front of the house every day. The decor is beautiful, and the house is very well equipped. Thanks Jo!

We had the most wonderful stay at Melissa's beach shack in Carrickalinga. The house was wonderful for two families, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short stroll to one of South Australia's most stunning beaches. Melissa was a fantastic host, with great communication and thoughtful touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beach escape!

Dolphins Lookout is quite amazing! The views are gorgeous and close to everything needed. The beach was at a walkable distance and easy to find. We thank Prue for being an attentive and generous host for our stay in Kangaroo Island. Will definitely be coming back!!

Lovely home in a unique setting so well equipped with everything we needed including well stocked kitchen to self cater at night and take in the beautiful views and visiting kangaroos. We stayed as a couple but would work equally as well for a family - we enjoyed our stay.
