This is equally a review about Cheryl as well as her house. She is one of the kindest humans I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. This house is perfect for a Kangaroo island experience, faultless. But what I want to highlight is how my holiday was saved by Cheryl & she went above and beyond. We didn’t book a car on the ferry on time & I reached out to Cheryl who rang around & tried to get a hire car. They were unavailable, she kindly agreed to rent me her own car & met me at the ferry to make everything seamless. Be warned kangaroo island is a tricky place to drive! On our way to dinner down an isolated dark road a kangaroo jumps out into the road. We try to swerve and the car flips over ! Miraculously we are unscathed. The car however is on its side. I was in total shock, I called Cheryl who was only concerned with our safety. She rescued us took care of the car, dropped us home mad sure we were safe and arranged transport for the rest of the trip. I can’t say anymore ! Excepts thanks !

What a a wonderful place! Located less than a 5minute walk to the quiet emu bay beach and jetty, and only a 15minute drive from the main town, it was a lovely getaway in a clean and well equipped air bnb. Great views from the deck of the sunrise over the bay, and we saw pelicans and kangaroos every day. The hosts gave us heaps of recommendations prior to check in and were quick to communicate with. The house has a large securely fenced yard for the dogs to run around on. It was a beautiful week spent at Emu Bay!

We had a lovely time in Cape Jervis. The house, location and view are great. It is the ideal location for a day trip to Kangaroo Island, the ferry terminal is only minutes away so that it is easy to catch the earliest and latest ferries of the day. One thing to remember is that Cape Jervis itself is only a small village and Victor Harbor where all the restaurants and tourism offers are, is about 45 minutes-drive away. The absolute highlight are the kangaroos assembling across the road in the early morning and evening.

This place is in the best location in Normanville! A stone's throw from the Beach front, and a small walk to local cafes and supermarket. Scott and Nikki were so accommodating to the needs of our family (with 3 small kids and a dog). We would love to stay there again.

I don’t think there would be a better place to stay on Kangaroo Island. Vicky’s place is like coming to a farm stay retreat . The sunsets from the decking were spectacular and we loved the friendly farm animals that surrounded the property. Spacious, spotlessly clean and views from every window. So easy to access all the amazing sights and venues on the island. Though we were tempted just to stay on the decking and enjoy the peace and serenity of this wonderful holiday home . We will definitely be recommending to our friends and family and next time we will stay longer.

Marine Cottage was perfect. The view was spectacular with the beach directly in front. The house had everything we needed, was extremely clean and had personal touches like fresh eggs and water. We loved staying in unit 3, our only regret was not staying longer than one night. Victoria has thought of everything you could possibly need for a relaxing say, and the decor is gorgeous. Loved the comfy bed, thick bathroom towels, Arsop hand soap, custom made fish-shaped cookies, and much more. It was the peaceful and relaxing stay we needed after a quick lap around the island. A great place to stay if you want a peaceful location close to a nice town and beautiful beaches. We really enjoyed Bretts cabin as a base to explore the island. It’s well equipped for cooking, great bathroom and deck to sit out in the evening and watch the stars with a glass of wine. Brett is a really nice guy and very helpful with recommendations and advice. His dog Chase is very friendly too!

Possum Ridge was a really private and peaceful retreat for our stay on Kangaroo Island. The bush surroundings were beautiful and the house very suited to our extended-family stay. We really appreciated all the facilities like TVs, BBQ, fully functioning kitchen, washing facility and many household amd pantry items available, such as kitchen items, condiments, washing and bathing needs. Place is beautiful and matches photos! Furnishings are very well thought out and instantly give you a holiday vibe. We had a local koala in the next door neighbour’s tree and we saw an echidna cross the road not far from the property. The beach was fun to fish in the evening and the beach definitely looked like a good crabbing beach throughout the day. Great central location, being not far from Kingscote and not far from Penneshaw. There are no supplies available without a drive though so make sure you have supplies. Would highly recommend to others if you are looking for a relaxing getaway! Kevin is a great host to deal with also, thanks again for a lovely stay.

Very nice place to stay while visiting Kingscote, spacious, quiet and convenient. Enjoyed the balcony and the view. The kitchen and bathrooms were adequately equipped, but you need to bring your own tissues and paper towels. Great to have an ensuite as well as a full bathroom. Good parking.

We had a fantastic stay from start to finish at this beautiful property. Rachel was friendly and so helpful, providing excellent advice on itineraries and travel plans. We were impressed by the home, which has been thoughtfully set up to make guests as comfortable as possible. We arrived to complimentary wine, Easter eggs, milk and snacks. The house was well equipped with board games, toiletries, toys and beach stuff for the kids. The house has beautiful French doors leading out to an outdoor table, comfortable beds and a lovely landscaped garden. We found the location ideal for our kangaroo island adventure, it is close to local amenities but also feels very peaceful and quiet. We often saw kangaroos either on or across the road from the property. We were two families travelling together and found the house was well laid out for us to be together and also have our own space. Could not recommend more highly, we will be back! Thank you Rachel!

Blakeney Holiday House is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The view from the living room is a fabulous one of Emu Bay. Comfortable beds, good kitchen, quiet except for the sweet chattering of the Fairy Penguins at dawn and dusk in the bush above the beach! Great walks on the beach. We'd come back in a minute!

We were blown away by the location, south shores resort is incredible and impeccable as is Narelle’s property. My family loved our stay at Rose’s beach house on Kangaroo island. The house looked better than the photos! The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our family of 4. The beds were very comfortable. The deck looked out to the ocean and had lots of seating. The IGA is close by (you can even walk). The location is also close to the sculpture trail. I would recommend Graceland to anyone visiting Kangaroo Island.
