Family-friendly vacation rentals in Patonga

My wife was in Sydney for a conference at the ICC. The location was perfect. The stay was very comfortable. Geraldine responded immediately when I had questions about the check in. Access to the gym and pool made working out easy on this trip. I would rate my stay 10 out of 10. Would book again for sure.

Fantastic location, miodern clean beautiful apartment, couldn't ask for anything more, 5 star recommendation for anybody wanting to stay in manly.

We loved our stay at Le Chateau! The house is very well kept and big enough for large groups with multiple seating areas. The kitchen is great for those who love cooking with 2 fridges. Very clear instructions and manuals for using AC / stove / spa etc. Would definitely recommend a stay here and would love to return

Phou’s place was a great location for a group stay, perhaps better set up for groups with couples or for large families (all double beds with makeshift singles) than groups with unrelated adult singles where bunks or twin rooms would have helped. Apart from this, Phou was responsive, helpful, the flat had everything we needed including a crock pot Phou bought for us on request. Very easy to stay there and get around all regions of Sydney as close to multiple train stations and the bus network. I recommend this place for unrelated groups of 4-6, for groups with multiple couples, or for larger family groups where sharing a bed is not a problem.

Beautiful surroundings, clean rooms, easy to travel to the different places.

Undoubtedly Eva’s place was the best I have experienced with Airbnb. Eva treated us as her own family, allowed my son and granddaughter to come and join us and enjoy the pool. My 7 year old granddaughter was fascinated with Eva’s cats and they were very friendly with her. Eva was always there when we needed her, was very responsive to our queries and she was really gracious. Definitely I recommend Eva’s place and definitely we’ll come back and enjoy it. We had a fantastic stay that truly felt like home. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The space was comfortable, cozy, and impeccably maintained—exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Luna, the sweet and cuddly companion, was an absolute highlight! She kept us company and made us feel right at home with her gentle affection. It’s clear that Mirva and Paul put a lot of care into making sure their guests have the best experience possible. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches and attention to detail throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return. Stayed here for 3 nights ahead of and during my wedding. Christine was a wonderful host, responsive beforehand. The nest is so beautiful, air con great, and the whole property was exactly what we needed. Lots of space. Would highly recommend.

Suzanna was a wonderful host, who made our experience most memorable for myself, partner and family. The apartment was well supplied and stocked with all the essentials, comfortable beds and plenty of storage. The view was incredible from the backyard and had a clear view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge! Suzanna was very responsive and assisted with all our queries instantly. She had great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions around the area. Would highly recommend!

The cabin was lovely and had everything we needed. It was close to the pub, beach by just sort walk and the lake was at the back. It was pet friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Kate's place was exactly like the photos and a great location for what we wanted to do whilst in that region, not to mention the awesome view from the balcony! The only constructive (not negative) feedback was that we took our 4 month old German Shepherd puppy with us and didn't have any actual yard for the dog to roam around, or to do it's business, so were out and about walking the streets at all hours of the night to accommodate our dog requirements. Overall we loved Kate and her home but in regards to being pet friendly, perhaps not an active puppy dog. :-). We will certainly stay at Kates place again, just not with the dog. Thanks Kate!!

Had a wonderful stay here. Justin and John were thoughtful and engaging hosts, and very responsive to messages. Also happy with the level of privacy in the basement apartment, as I was always notified when they needed to use the shared laundry facilities. The area feels safe and quiet, with lots of public transport options and a quick walk to a bustling part of Glebe. The nearby kookaburras cackling away were definitely a highlight!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Cox Cottage. Annette was very welcoming and gave us a tour of the cottage, providing helpful information and its history, including local restaurants on arrival. We found it very quiet and enjoyed walking to the lake or having a drink on the verandah in the afternoons. I particularly enjoyed watching the little wrens in the garden each morning. During our stay we found the cottage to be very comfortable with plenty of room for our family of four and two friends. There were plenty of towels, linen etc on hand. They also very kindly provided breakfast essentials for our first night. As we had driven from Queensland, this was very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend their wonderful cottage to our friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Sue’s home was wonderful! Plenty of room, beds, and space to be comfortable living for our short stay. Walking distance to 2 great beaches and multiple food/drink spots! We enjoyed multiple lunches at Caves which were delicious and convenient. Caves beach is extremely neat and beautiful during low tide and a must see during your stay here.

We loved Todd’s place! Very comfortable, super clean, lots of supplies and good coffee in the kitchen. AC is great. Birds in trees awesome. We walked to Ocean Bar for dinner and live music, Burnt Honey for house-made delicious pastries and coffee. Spent a lot of time on the beach at dusk, hiked up The Hill to Captain Cooks Lookout, and went to Avoca town over the hill. Pizza and Burrata Salad at Lady Copa are excellent! We would be back to Todd’s place in a heart beat. Excellent place to stay!

Amazing stay in Terrigal! Beautiful space, great ocean view, and close walking distance to everything. Tim was very responsive and ensured our check-in was a breeze. We couldn’t be more pleased and highly recommend this lovely home!

Remarkably well provisioned. Beds were super comfy and the location is spot on. Very easy to get to the city or walking distance to Bondi beach. Great host!

Petrit is the best Airbnb host I’ve had since using Airbnb. He’s very attentive and personable. Petrit makes your stay feel right at home with many recommendations given, as well as offering gift cards to small businesses within the area. The airbnb listing is in the perfect location being that you’re within walking distance to one of Sydney’s main attractions, Bondi Beach. Also, to note Petrit’s home is located within a 16-20 minute walking radius to the nearest shopping center and metro station that takes you around Sydney. If you’re planning to take holiday in Sydney I definitely would recommend this Airbnb. It’s truly of the best listings Sydney has to offer. You & your friends or family members won’t be disappointed!

We loved Brian’s place it is just as described, location is perfect for exploring Sydney and also close to many lovely restaurants, the facilities were great especially the pool, next time we’re visiting Sydney we would love to be able to stay here again, thanks Brian.

Genie was so so sweet as well as her partner, she offered us food, checked up on us. Her family allowed my little cousins to pick flowers & play with their family dog. Felt so safe & comfortable. They helped with putting rubbish into the street bins for us which was so thoughtful & sweet. Some of the nicest people you’ll meet & their place was definitely worth the stay. It’s a good price for a good place.

Could not fault anything about the stay, the place was beautiful, clean, and very peaceful. The bed was comfortable which is a must. Would highly recommend. The communication and ease of check in was also great.

Apartment is in a perfect location close to the Harbour, restaurants, and public transportation. It is a secured building so you feel safe. The apartment has all the amenities you need and is very comfortable. Tommy is a perfect host and is easy to get a hold of for anything. This is such a great place we have stayed here more than once! We had 6 nice days here. It was very clean and a nice place to be. There is little to do nearby, but this is compensated by the private garden and swimming pool. Gary helped us with tips on what to do nearby. Thank you very much we enjoyed it all!
