A fantastic home to relax by the pool and enjoy the sun. Great outdoor space and plenty of room in each bedroom. We were very comfortable here and would recommend Dianne’s home to others!

You will find this gem behind a long (and we mean loooong) drive way filled with local wildlife and greenery. It's beautiful, peaceful, serene, and relaxing. At night be prepared to see every star in the sky, and during the day enjoy the beautiful birds as they sing their many songs, and watch the rabbits run across the fields. It's not walking distance from any restaurants or stores, unless you absolutely LOVE to walk. But it's a short drive from Otaki's little downtown. I highly recommend this place.

Our two young girls spent the first hour screaming about how beautiful the house is. We were so grateful for Toni’s help, she was always on hand and answered any queries promptly. We are happy to recommend this home to anyone travelling in the area. Such a comfortable, beautiful, easy-to-navigate home for us and our whānau.

Tracey and Niels home is beautiful and we had a wonderful stay. The house is comfortable, well equipped and lots of lovely areas to sit and just chill. The pool and the games room as a bit hit with the kids. We had our wedding anniversary there on New Years Eve and it was a perfect place to host a memorable event with friends and family. Would recommend it to everyone looking for somewhere close to the beach and local shops and restaurants.

A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. It was the best place to stay on our round trip through New Zealand. Sarah and Greg are fantastic hosts. We have been warmly received. The house is spacious, everything was available and clean. We had an evening BBQ , Greg prepared the grill for us and cleaned again. Great service. We also enjoyed the hot tub at all times. Talking to the two of them again and again was very pleasant, but you always had your privacy if you wanted to. Highly recommended. Thank you for the great Christmas days at your place.

We stayed one night at Stephen and Carmen’s Airbnb in Wellington on the last leg of our NZ North Island trip. We appreciate Stephen’s very prompt and fast replies, and their helpful local food recommendations nearby. The onsite car garage was a bonus. On a cold, wet and stormy Wellington night, their hospitality and assurance warmed our hearts. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay at Dreenagh and Kevin’s house. It was warm, comfortable with beautiful views. Dreenagh and Kevin were super accommodating to our requests for alternative heating. The house was well equipped with all the cooking essentials.

We loved our stay, had our baby with us we took our own cot so unsure how the provided cot is. The beds were really comfortable and warm, great outdoor area and a kitchen with everything you need to cook a lovely meal and soak up the evening sun or listen to the morning bird chorus. Alma was an amazing host. Highly recommend for families!

Beautiful property. absorbed our family group easily, there was a quiet spot for anyone needing some time alone and good spaces for groups. Close to town, though too far to walk comfortably. Beautiful vistas from all rooms. Some issues with the hot water in the cottage but the host was quick and responsive and this was quickly resolved great communication with the host before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend this property for family groups wanting to enjoy some time together.

This is the second time this year my family have stayed in Jaimee’s place. It’s a beautiful property, with great amenities. We loved the large living room and the flow to the outdoor area and large outdoor table. Perfect for a family wanting to stay in the Petone area.

This apartment is simply incredible and Michelle is a great host. Her instructions were clear and she always responded promptly to any questions. The apartment itself is huge and in a lovely setting. Not only was it meticulously clean, but it was equipped with everything needed for cooking, cleaning and relaxing with a book or crossword puzzle. Most importantly, it was in the middle of a bush area, meaning we had bird calls to awaken us, creeks and waterfalls within a 5 minute walk, and ferns, epiphytes, and native forest growth all about. We chose to not have a car for our month's stay here and were glad we did not. There is a convenient bus (#14) a 12 minutes walk away through the bush on beautiful trails. In the opposite direction, it is about 1.3 km on city streets to a supermarket and little cafe. From this location we hiked an average of 7-8 miles every day......going down to hike the waterfront or up to the ridgelines above the city. A+ accomodation!
