We were very happy with Stickney's accommodation. It was a good price for the size, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The chocolates and bottle of wine were a really welcoming touch! We appreciated the fire wood as the evening was a bit cold - having a fireplace was another nice touch! Thank you, Stickney for your great communication and nice clean place in lovely Waikanae!

Close to beach, restaurants and. Four Square. Quirky beachy decor. Spa was great after swim in the sea. Bikes were excellent to use on Kapiti Cycle trail which is right there.

Whether we were sharing meals, soaking in the spa under the stars, or simply unwinding in the serene indoor spaces, the home offered the perfect setting to reconnect, laugh, and rest. The surrounding trees, birdsong, and lush gardens made it feel like we were held by nature the entire time — utterly magical. Alice was a phenomenal host: warm, communicative, and thoughtful throughout. She’s created a space that’s more than just a place to stay — it’s a place to pause, exhale, and truly be. Liem and Selena are great hosts - very responsive, friendly, and always available if you need anything. The place is spacious, cozy and comfortable, with everything necessary, you instantly feel like home. There’s also an amazing, quiet garden, perfect for enjoying breakfast! And if it’s rainy there’s a nice sunroom to enjoy the garden view! I genuinely enjoyed staying there and would definitely recommend it:)

Cindy's whare was the perfect place to host a house of kaumātua. It was clean, pristine, the kitchen had everything to prepare meals. We were thankful for the neighbours too as they reminded us about rubbish/recycling day in and amongst a busy film festival schedule. A beautiful spot.

This is simply a wonderful home, and Eleanor is the best host. The villa is beautiful and comfortable—its architecture, furniture, and paintings are a true aesthetic delight. It was warm and cozy, with clear instructions provided. The city center is easy to reach by walking downhill, and on the way back, you can take the cable car up to the Botanic Garden, which is nearby. The rooms are spacious, the views are stunning, and the kitchen has everything you need. We are very happy that we had the chance to stay in such a place!

We are an extended family of 4 adults and 4 teenagers, three generations. The apartment offered great open spaces and bedrooms that made living together a pleasure. Smack in the middle of town, yet in a secluded precinct with a pub below, the whole experience is quintessential Wellington. The entrance takes you from the service entrance for the pub, up 36 (approx) stairs into a massive two floor apartment. Everything we needed was provided. Everything worked! Many thanks to Sue and Monique for providing a great option for a Wellington break. Like everything on offer, it won't be for everyone. For our whanau, it was ideal.

Super cool loft within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and coffee. Amazing eclectic decor and master bathroom. Kitchen is big enough for a large dinner.

Sally provided a place that exceeded our expectations. we had an absolutely wonderful time and can't fault her. As a Wellington resident for 14 years who booked it for his parents while they were travelling I can't recommend this enough. It's exactly what you need if you are here for a visit or a medium term stay. Thanks Sally!

A peaceful and quiet retreat for a weekend getaway. The little touches such as the fresh flowers and chocolate were a thoughtful surprise. We also enjoyed meeting one of the furry four legged neighbours. This was the perfect location to retreat to after attending events in Greytown (a short car drive just out of the centre of Greytown ). I only wish we had been able to stay longer to read some of the books available ( I did manage to finish my own book that I had bought along).

Michael was a wonderful host- very laid-back in approach and we really appreciated his flexibility and generosity around check-in time and his responsiveness to a couple of questions we had on arrival around car parking and beach access (both available at this property). The location of this apartment is absolutely stunning- I have truly never seen an ocean view to beat this. The apartment itself is spacious and well-equipped and really comfortable with everything you need. Spent a wonderful afternoon walking the beach for 4 hours or so, enjoying a beautiful meal at the local Waterfront Restaurant, then soaking in the spa pool under the stars watching the most glorious sunset over the ocean. You can literally see & hear the waves crashing below from the master bedroom. So peaceful. If you're looking for a relaxing beachfront stay in a friendly village setting, I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you Michael, we'll be back!

Amazing Amazing and Amazing! To wake up to this view was out of this world! Then having the awesome access to the beach. Everything you require is at the house….may be a little more expensive than some of the other Kapiti properties. But it is worth every penny! Thanks Julie and Kelly (the very helpful site Manager)

A lovely house with great indoor and outdoor areas. The house had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend including a hot tub, pool table and darts. We took advantage of the local bike trails too. Fantastic!

Such a great place to stay, perfect for our group. Lots of space, both as a large group but also breakout areas. Outdoors is stunning, great to wander around in the sun and fresh air, very quiet and peaceful - our dogs love it!! Well equipped throughout, kitchen had all the staples and plenty of serving ware for group meals, bedrooms were all fabulously set out, plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed. Lots of games to have fun with, plus the pool and tennis court. We had a blast, thank you for having us!!

Great location, handy to Botanic Gardens, local shops, central city and great access to motorway out of town and to airport. Drive on access with parking was very helpful. Sunny in the mornings and good heating when the weather turned cold. Kitchen very well supplied with everything that you need.

Nessa and Stefan were the besthosts! They made us feel welcome, comfortable as soon as we arrived. We actually took up an offer to stay in their beautiful home in Belmont as the Boulcott home was given to a couple who booked and needed to extend their stay. I highly recommend a stay with them or in their Boulcott property as they go out of their way to provide the perfect stay in immaculate and comfortable surroundings. Stefan’s coffee and home made honey and breakfast cereals were exceptional! A 10/10 stay with 10/10 hosts! Thank you for your hospitality and friendly conversations. All the best.

Very accurate description on the listing of what it was like to stay with Allie in Wadestown. I was there for a fortnight and became adjusted to the routines yet felt very undisturbed. It really suited my requirements at the time.

This was only a one night stay for us and we arrived very late and left very early in the morning. All we did was sleep in the bed quick and then leave right away. Therefore, I don’t have much that I can comment on, however, it definitely met our needs. Check in and check out was turn key. Thank you for the stay.

Nice to have continental breakfast available so we didn't need to buy milk etc. Lovely to have fresh coffee with coffee beans provided. Large outside areas where we could sit in different locations. Umbrellas provided for unexpected rain. Lovely pussy cat in residence. Lots of DVds and games to choose from. Thank you
