Vacation rentals with beach access in Palmela

It was a treat to meet Beate in person at check in. Apartment was exactly as described and very quiet (one could hear some music from a nearby club but this was only on Friday and Saturday evenings) and not too disruptive. New Year Eve’s concert and Setúbal bay fireworks were literally less than 300m away and all for free . Great restaurants catering for all budgets immediately near and further afield. Selection is endless. The winter weather was spectacular which made enjoying the beaches a treat. Beate was so friendly and accommodating with any request. Highly recommended stay. We stayed for 7 nights over New Years.

This is a super spacious, high-ceilings, well-appointed, recently renovated apartment right next to the boardwalk with tons of restaurants and not far from « downtown » Setúbal either. The whole apartment felt super comfortable and easy to feel at home. The host was super helpful and gave a nice discount after there were water issues that wasn’t her fault either. Highly recommend for its quality, location, and access to many of the beaches, nature around Setubal.

The apartment is great. It's comfortable, nice, pretty and overall quiet. We had an issue with the coffee maker and within a few hours they changed it, they were always pending. Something that I also liked is that the flat has blinds, important if like me, you like to sleep in the dark. For me, the bed was somewhat soft, but I understand it's a matter of personal taste. It would be appreciated a drawer in the bedroom to be able to store the clothes since if you go a few days it would be more comfortable to be able to undo the suitcase. Otherwise, we were very comfortable at the place. And it's great to have Bonfim park right there!!! Thank you!

If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay, look no further! This Airbnb exceeded all of our expectations. The location is unbeatable—walking distance from the heart of the city, close to everything you could possibly need, from restaurants and cafes to public transportation and attractions, but very quiet and far away from the noise. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was evident in every corner. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the host. Jens is incredibly kind, responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. From the moment we booked, his communication was top-notch, and he even shared fantastic tips to help us explore the area like locals. We were there during the holidays and he even brought us a traditional Portuguese cake with a lovely Christmas card. Honestly, we felt like home. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We loved our stay at Ines place! The apartment was super clean and tidy, perfect also for stay with kids. Ines and her boyfriend Sam were very helpful and responsive: since the living room heaters were not working, they promptly went to buy new electrical ones just for us! The apartment is very well insulated, so it was warm and cozy for the whole time! We are totally coming back in summer ☀️

We had a great time. It actually was just like the pictures :) lots of good food and the Bedroom is very quiet. The bed is only around 140cm, didn’t realise that before, but is was very comfortable non the less. Would stay here again

It is a lovely place to stay and a good walking distance to the city center as well as the beach. Can definitely recommend the place and perfect also to park a car in front of the house.

Very kind host ! Always responded. We had to change the time of arrival last minute due to an emergency and he was so accommodating. Parking on street was a little full some times but we always found a spot.

Had a great stay with my family. Everything was perfect and Rafael -the host- was very friendly and arranged everything perfectly. The place was clean, he checked in to see if everything was fine and gave us some amazing tips to do in the area. Will be recommending this to others!

This is an amazing home, completely private, great amenities like very large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, large living room with dining table for 8 people, fire place and large patio with fruit trees and chairs to really enjoy the outdoors. Great location, just next to the castle where we enjoyed several beautiful sunsets and even had dinner at the castle restaurant. We were greeted by Doris which is a delightful person, we had several conversation and shared coffee together. Without a doubt, an excellent experience. We’re returning soon.

Pedro’s place exceeded expectations. Pedro was very friendly and immediately available when we had a question. Unlike most Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at in Portugal, Pedro’s place was fully stocked with all the essentials needed to have an enjoyable stay (for example, it had plenty of dishwasher tabs and even had laundry soap…which might seem like a small detail but most places we’ve stayed at here tell you to go to the store if you want any). Everything was super clean and the beds were very comfortable (also, surprisingly usually very hard to find here!). But, a few more pillows would have been appreciated. Finally, it is worth mentioning for anyone traveling with pets that while Pedro’s place is pet friendly the beaches around the area have no dogs allowed signs (also, very typical in Portugal). But, what was unexpected was that all of the boardwalks also had no dog signs posted. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in a beautiful location! We would be happy to come back :)

Modern and functional apartment, close to Lisboa and with all appliances you might need for a shorter stay. Luis' apartment was a good base to travel around and also had space in the vicinity to park a rented car.

Rossana is a great host. Very easy to communicate with and very welcoming. The apartment is well-located and makes you feel at home. The apartment has everything for a pleasant stay. Just a few minutes to the beachfront of Caparica, a supermarket and an excellent cafe around the corner.

Small but nice flat, with lovely ocean view and soundscape. Sixties-vibe building of yesteryear, intended for holidays, so nice to find an Airbnb that does not disturb the housing market in a city. José is super accessible and helpful. Everything is neat and available, simple but good.
