The home is beautifully restored and updated while staying true to the character of its surroundings. It is set in the ancient town of Palizzi, with spectacular vistas, deep cultural roots and amazing history. The drive in is not for the faint of heart and there is a little bit of a hike to get into the house, but once you make it the place is amazing.

idyllic mountain village surrounded by friendly Italian people. In winter it can get cold in the house, even if in the morning the sun is shining surrounded by lemon trees. We always had power outages. It was worth the trip. 🍋🌞🍊

Alessandra and Pietro are two exquisite people. As soon as we booked, Alessandra wrote to us to give us advice on the area and to get inspired by the places to visit with all the information also regarding the village of Bova. We found in the latter an interesting strategic position to be able to visit all the most important points of Greek Calabria, as well as being a splendid well-kept village with cultural events of all kinds. The cottage was beautiful with everything you could need, well-kept and very clean. Opening the door of the house, it was possible to visit everything on foot quietly. We recommend it to all those who want to have a "different" vacation experience by getting to know this area thoroughly while maintaining all the comforts of the vacation itself.

We received a particularly warm welcome in the lovely house right on the beach. Friends of Enzo were ready with extensive information and a nice bottle of rosé (thanks Ewa and Salvatore!). The supermarket and a great coffee shop are in walking distance. The house is not particularly luxuriously furnished but you are not often there. On the beach, on the balcony or under the house in the shade it is very nice! The air conditioning in every room works great. The train comes close to the house a few times an hour, but at night it does not run. Then it's nice and quiet. We definitely recommend the house!
