Graham was a lovely host, lovely to talk to and extremely helpful with any questions we had. His home was immaculately clean and had a wonderful just like home feel to it. The location was perfect as we had friends over the bridge in North Pataua and also friends at the campground. Easy to get around with bikes! Would definitely stay again on our return!

Lovely peaceful spot with a huge deck out the back to eat on or just chill and watch the world go by. Really comfortable beds and easy 20 min drive to Russell. Sandy was very helpful with directions and made us feel very welcome. Perfect spot for me and my two teens. Would also suit couple or young family.

I loved this space. It's well appointed, had everything I needed and I would highly recommend to others who enjoy being close to the beach and having a private and comfortable space in which to work or relax.

Kathryn’s place could not be faulted. They were excellent hosts that went that extra mile for their guests. We were also given good recommendations of where to eat and where to visit, we were not disappointed. The property was in a lovely position surrounded by trees and very peaceful. Spotlessly clean everywhere. If you are visiting the bay of islands this is the place to stay.

We had a lovely three nights at Pauline's place. She was so kind, welcoming and generous. The place was super clean and had everything we needed. We felt right at home. We hope to come back if we are in the area again. Thank you Pauline!

The view from the studio was absolutely beautiful. we loved the sunset views and the stars at night. The space was well laid out and had everything we needed for a weekend away. It was an easy walk to the beach, and we enjoyed a day out exploring Puketi Kauri Forest, the Blueberry ice cream place and Kainui Road Vineyard which were a short drive from Waipapa.

Our stay in Kohinui Cottage was all we had hoped for. We had everything we wanted, as well as plenty of little bonuses, like fresh eggs from the chooks just outside the cottage. Andrea and Mike very very friendly and approachable and made sure we had everything we needed. The kids loved the chooks, sheep and neighbouring cows and all the different things to do in the games barn. It's a really beautiful property and I'd highly recommend staying there.

It was a very nice, relaxing stay in the wonderfully designed accommodation with the beautiful garden area. The hospitable Keri made it easy for me to feel at home the whole time. The very nice pool is a must, it makes the stay even more perfect. The location is a dream. The center is easy to reach and the many trails invite you to explore the beautiful landscape. I can recommend the accommodation without reservation.

Lovely place to stay. Located just a 15 min drive from most of the best beaches in the area. Very nice location with a private walk access to a local secluded bay. Angela is a lovely host. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful place situated not far of the Paihia town centre. With such a short walk it allows for any sort or activity during the day as well as dining out in the evening. Hadlee and his wife are so welcoming and available for a chat. A worthwhile stay for us we absolutely loved it!

We had a great stay here. Beautiful view from the decking and we made good use of the BBQ! The place had everything we needed plus extra treats left by our hosts. Really cosy and lovely surroundings with an easy walk down to the water. Highly recommend this place!

Nicky's place is a delightful little hideaway. Great communication and a friendly welcome. It was just what we were after for our quick visit to the area.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ruakaka Heights Unit! The property was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with a peaceful and private setting. The outdoor deck was perfect for enjoying the view. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. The location was great, offering a serene escape while still being close enough to explore local attractions. We would love to visit again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and tranquil getaway!

Tania’s place is absolutely stunning. So much love has gone into the decoration and care and the complementary food was above and beyond. It’s super quiet and peaceful with gorgeous views and a very special loop walk through the forest. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed much much longer! Tania’s directions were really helpful and it was lovely to meet her when we arrived.

This is a great spot and very quiet. Clean and comfortable, especially the bed. Ian was very attentive as the weather was not great but we were happy anyway. Nice outdoor area even when raining. Also good parking area

Thanks to Leah & Paul for sharing their magical spot looking north and out to sea from our bed and deck! We loved the bush, the incredible bird life, our friendly & knowledgable hosts! The outdoor kitchen was totally functional and well equipped with thoughtful pantry extras like milk, bread & butter and tomatoes and herbs from the garden. Beautiful beaches within easy walking distance.

Loved it! Need to go back & spend longer! Great location overlooking the beach & only a few minute stroll. Lovely touch supplying beach towels - thanks. Enjoyed Netflix for the evening.

Ruth has thought of everything one might need for an extremely comfortable stay. Aptly named The Tardis, it really does feel spacious and has a choice of 3 dining areas and an excellent laundry facility too. Although only a couple of miles from the sea, the garden feels like a jungle paradise and the birdsong is fantastic. Comfortable bed, brilliant shower and full kitchen. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the books, games and DVDs available. Thanks Ruth and Trev for a lovely stay.

Great place, great hosts. We welcomed very warmly when we arrived. All instructions were given at check in and were clear and easy. Very peaceful and secluded from the road. Lovely pool that we used whilst cooking our dinner on the provided BBQ. Highly recommend

Good location for a our one night stop over after snorkelling at Tutukana. Easy walk to get take away food. Very comfy bed. Helen was very welcoming.

This Bach was clean tidy and well equipped and easy to manage. The shower worked well with great pressure and hot water. A pity the BBQ down stairs wasn’t operational. Most beds were comfortable and warm. The whole place was warm with plenty of light and sunshine. The outdoor table worked well for s larger group. The neighborhood was quiet and so close to the sandy beach. I recommend mentioning this is the basement Bach.
