Great place and Pataua is magic. Graham's place is terrific and kept meticulously. It was peaceful and well appointed. Very functional and well supplied kitchen and great grill on the lovely deck. We were only able to stay a couple nights but this was a great spot to see Pataua from.

Sandra and Ross (& their beautiful pup Coffee!) were the most hospitable hosts. Their place is exceptionally clean with comfortable beds and everything you might need. They alsothoughtfully provided extras like milk, bread, eggs and garden tomatoes for our arrival. So kind. The spot is quiet and peaceful with a beautiful beach a short walk away. Easily accessible to many lovely surrounding areas.

Lovely private spot within an easy walk of the beach. Clean and quiet and pretty spacious, with a good shower, we had a nice getaway here. Hosts were helpful when we had an issue with the WiFi (turned out to be storm-related). Easy self-check-in.

Lovely peaceful setting just a 5 minute walk from the seafront. Lots of places to visit and lovely walk. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. Kathryn was very welcoming and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you

Pauline is a lovely and welcoming host and the accommodation was clean and spacious. The location was fantastic and the beach was accessible by a path in front of the house. Amazing views! We loved our stay!

Our stay in Kohinui Cottage was all we had hoped for. We had everything we wanted, as well as plenty of little bonuses, like fresh eggs from the chooks just outside the cottage. Andrea and Mike very very friendly and approachable and made sure we had everything we needed. The kids loved the chooks, sheep and neighbouring cows and all the different things to do in the games barn. It's a really beautiful property and I'd highly recommend staying there.

Provided breakfast basics and more, making it easy to start our days fueled up and ready to go! Can’t praise this gem enough - fabulous stay!

This is one of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Situated on the coast of some of New Zealand’s best beaches, the property has easy walking access to a small private beach or enjoy Matapouri which is only a very short drive away. The property has every thoughtful amenity you may need which was so helpful if you want to bbq and eat at home. It’s fitted out to a super high standard with comfortable beds, linen and a great shower. It’s immaculately clean, nestled in stunning surroundings. Our host Angela continuously went above and beyond to offer the most outstanding service including fresh tomatoes from the garden and baked birthday muffins for my friend who was celebrating. If that wasn’t enough Angela offers massage therapy from her home which was reasonably priced and out of this world. A truly relaxing place, gorgeous quality and phenomenal host, I hope I can return to enjoy again!

Great space in a quiet spot only a short walk (or even shorter drive) from Paihia town centre. Hosts were away during my stay but were communicative and friendly during the booking process and prior to my arrival. Thanks for a great stay. Would stay again if in the Bay of Islands in future.

I enjoyed staying at the condo. However; the view didn’t quite match the pictures. The view was obstructed by a tractor and something constructional looking. I understand that could be a Neighboor doing it, but it would be fair to re-post updated photos to avoid confusion or drop the price a little. We drive all the way there from the Auckland strictly for the view so we were disappointed. Otherwise, the cabin is very clean and organized and the host is great.

Definitely one of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Such a beautiful spot, everything you would need, Tania was an incredible host! The hot tub snd sauna were top notch and the homemade bread and spreads were delicious. Amazing value for money

What can I say, this Airbnb was just superb. Quiet, gorgeous outlook and close to all the things I wanted to do. Ian was an excellent host and I would come back and stay if I'm in the area. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place in the wider Kerikeri area.

The warmest welcome, extra treats (the feijoas and avos were delicious!), and all the thoughtful amenities made me feel so spoiled in this luxurious studio with gorgeous, expansive sea views and easy access to the beach. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

Ruth and Trev's place was a great place to stay in the Paihia area. Super comfy queen bed, full kitchen, lounge area, full bath and shower plus a deck area with a gas grill. Dedicated parking space. A short 5 min drive to Paihia and a 2 minute drive to Opua. If you require an ocean view then this won't work, but you'll end up paying twice as much for that view. Tip: Google maps will drop you off too soon. When it says you're there, go 100m further down the driveway to the next house.

Pataua is Whangarei heads best kept secret. Val and Max are great hosts and the accomodation and hosting was in the top 5 of all the ABnB’s we’ve stayed.

Brilliant hosts - so friendly and welcoming. Spacious place - well appointed - as described in the listing. Great breakfast served on the deck overlooking the beautiful garden and Russell. Would definitely stay there again if ever back in Russell.

Great place, great hosts. We welcomed very warmly when we arrived. All instructions were given at check in and were clear and easy. Very peaceful and secluded from the road. Lovely pool that we used whilst cooking our dinner on the provided BBQ. Highly recommend

Good location for a our one night stop over after snorkelling at Tutukana. Easy walk to get take away food. Very comfy bed. Helen was very welcoming.

This Bach was clean tidy and well equipped and easy to manage. The shower worked well with great pressure and hot water. A pity the BBQ down stairs wasn’t operational. Most beds were comfortable and warm. The whole place was warm with plenty of light and sunshine. The outdoor table worked well for s larger group. The neighborhood was quiet and so close to the sandy beach. I recommend mentioning this is the basement Bach.
