Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Padre Island, Corpus Christi

My stay on the island was nothing short of perfection. The cozy atmosphere combined with the host's friendliness & warm hospitality created a welcoming environment that made me feel right at home. Being just minutes away from the beach allowed me to easily soak in the sun and sea, making every moment truly special. This Airbnb is a true gem, and I can't wait to revisit this little piece of paradise!

This is an amazing AirBNB - they even provided a drawstring bag as a gift and the kitchen is sticked with many condiments and even coffee/creamer. Detergent and bleach is also provided for the washer/dryer. Beds were SUPER comfortable. Only thing that that could be improved is providing more than 3 kitchen trash bags when we were there for a week.

We enjoyed the place so much, we've almost got our next trip to Mark's booked. Exactly what we needed for a peaceful, restful, delicious food, four day get away. Mark's place is terrific - highly recommended. Even the goodies in welcome bag were helpful.

Absolutely loved the space. The only thing I wasn't prepare for was how in order to use the restroom from the main bedroom I would have to pass though another bedroom (where people were sleeping) or go out of the unit through the shared lenai, downstairs, outside, into the main (also publicly shared) entrance and up more stairs. Had I known my morning pee was going to be such a hassle I might have looked at a different location. BUT it was absolutely magical and I'm so glad we stayed here!

This is a great place to stay! As a solo traveler I felt completely safe. And the location to the beach was great - I will be back.

We had a great stay. John was kind enough to provide new year’s hats and other items. The place was nice and cozy and in a very beautiful area with only a 10 minute walk to the beach.

we really enjoy this place, everything was clean and accurate, just like the pictures. the kitchen had eveverything we needed to cook a meal. I like that the coffe maker was not a kuering, I prefer to make more than one cup at a time. we will definitely be going back.

We had a great time! It is an older building, but everything you need is available. It was also extremely clean! The pools were great and you can’t beat the location! Erica was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. The parking was fine, however there is a small set of stairs to enter the first floor. Can’t wait to recommend and return! Monica's condo was exactly what we were wanting for this first trip to Corpus Christi. The location was great for us, walking distance (1 mile) to the Lexington and aquarium, and a quick easy drive into downtown and beyond. Yes, the building itself shows its age, but the condo was very clean, smelled good (loved whatever that scent was!), well-supplied, nicely decorated, and very quiet. We enjoyed the view toward the Lexington and downtown from the living room and balcony. Monica reminded us to expect construction activity, and it was happening during the day, but it was a non-issue. The only items that fell a bit below our overall 5 rating were the comfort levels of the sofa (pretty creaky and not supportive) and the mattress which was a bit soft for us, not bad, just softer than our backs prefer. Thank you, Monica, for a great stay and for the great communication!

Great stay at Jeff & Julie’s. We had to RS our initial stay due to hurricane weather, but Julie was so nice & helpful to accommodate us at a later date. The place is very cozy & perfect location. They had lots of local recommendations. We love Doc’s & the Surf Sandwich Shoppe, both recommended. The place was very clean, had all the listed amenities & a comfy bed. Would def stay here again. Mahalo for the beautiful home away from home!

My family and I come down to the coast several times a year and I can only say I regret not finding Ernie and Denise’s place sooner!

Thought this was a great place to stay for a short beach trip for us! Been at Beach Club many times and Kimberly’s place is wonderful, easy walk to whitecap beach, comfortable, with everything you need to feel at home.

We had the best trip to the island we've ever had, and a big part of that was having a perfect place to launch from and stay. It was so fun! As a group of three couples (us and our two grown kids and partners) we had plenty of communal space, but were able to also have privacy. The beds were comfortable, kitchen very well-equipped, and living areas worked for relaxing and visiting. While here you are close to all of the restaurants and shops, just a quick drive to the beach, but in an area that feels like home. I especially appreciated the outdoor patio areas - you usually don't get to sit outside comfortably and privately when you stay in other types of accommodations. And it was so nice to have a yard for the pups to play. We all agreed that we wanted to make this our go-to place for future trips.

We loved this place! It was perfect for our family of 10 getaway! Plenty of space for all of us! Huge living and dining area where we could all watch movies and play games!

All questions were answered promptly, and helpful local information. I enjoyed the house and our guests had comfortable accommodations.

Stay was great! The Airbnb quickly became a very comfortable home away from home, stocked with everything we could need for our vacation. Highly recommend the Crabshack and we look forward to our next visit!
