Wonderful apartment in the heart of Mandraki! Shops and restaurants were within walking distance, especially in the evening you could stroll through the beautiful alleys or quickly just two streets further the sunset. The apartment was super clean and equipped with everything you needed, and there were also some treats as a guest gift. Kalliopi inquired about us very kindly and was always available. We will be happy to come back!

You can just say woooowww about the place and Petra and Dietmar. The warm late welcome, the cleanliness....yes the cleanliness and that must be mentioned * *****+. The mill is as described and shown in the pictures. Everything is there and "thank God" is not over-decorated...just right to feel comfortable. The whole mill and property are great. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The bedroom is really cozy and spacious. The beds are great (except for the bright lamp by the bed, but that's a matter of taste). Not too soft mattresses (especially two single mattresses), 2 pillows for everyone and perfect at all. The bathroom is really good, especially the shower. Also the possibility to wash laundry: into the machine, Petra throws it on and later get out yourself completely fine. We would come back...stay as you are and please stay healthy. Conclusion: we enjoyed it and felt at home.....Thank you*****

Maria was very helpful in welcoming us warmly, making us feel comfortable, offering practical advice where to go and preparing local delicacies cooked with her own hands. The proximity to the sea-view cemetery was interesting, allowing us to get in touch with customs and traditions of the Orthodox Christian culture. Open space comfortable and equipped for every need. Although the apartment is on the street, the noise of cars is greatly reduced in the evening and the night is quiet and one sleeps soundly. Thank you Maria for the care you took in hosting us!

To get picked up from the port by an open-hearted being like Renata, let you feel welcomed right away and to get a brief 'how to Nisyros' from your host, makes everything easier than communication with a key box. To me Nisyros was a very calming, relaxing, recharging place to explore and the 14 days were perfect. If it is an option for you, i highly recommend to rather rent an E-Bike than something faster, if time allows it, and that's already the thing...take your time for Nisyros if possible. I'm still fantasizing everyday about also hiking more, if there is a next time. I just fell in love with the place. And Renata aka CIA of Greece. She is always helpful if something comes up and somehow is 'always around' but you have all the alone time and private space you need.
