Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Outer Banks

We loved our stay at the beach! We even got to view the northern lights from the deck. Pretty close walk to the beach. Lots of kitchen supplies, pet friendly - although our dog stayed at home this time. We love the location and would like to stay again. Marsha, was a very responsive host and easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend stay at Ohana. The house was perfect for the adults and my granddaughters. The kitchen had all that we needed to have Thanksgiving dinner. Brandon was a good host, responsive to questions and flexible with our requests. Enjoyed our stay at Ohana.

Lots of new updates since we stayed there in August. Love this place.

Have been going to OBX for 47 yrs and this location is ideal - great beach access, grocery is walkable. The house has everything you need. We will stay again + recommend it to friends. Also, the dyer wouldn't work but Gia had it taken care of immediately!! Impressive

I have been visiting the OBX for 20 years now and this is by far the best house that I have ever stayed in. First, it is just a wonderful house in a great location. 3 minute walk to beach and 3 minutes from hiking trails in Nags Head Woods. Staying at Annette and Greg’s place is like being at home. However, the back porch makes the place even better. This private porch area was a great place to wind down and relax in the evening. I cannot rate this house or the hosts any higher. Thanks for a great week!

Oh my gosh, I don’t know where to start! My family and I come to OBX every single opportunity that we have and we have been on a quest to find the perfect home for our family. By perfect I mean a house that is clean and exactly as described upon arrival, had ALL towels and linens proved (so nice), had a full and stocked kitchen, decor to die for and a very responsive host! In addition tot he home itself, the walk to the beach access is only a few minutes, Dowdy Park is in the front yard practically, two coffee shops that are also walkable in addition to a food lion, and Pizazz pizza. I mean you really never even have to get in the car if you don’t want to. Thank you Travis for a perfect holiday getaway for our family! We look forward to coming back!

First of all it’s a beautiful house, well kept. Areca is always reachable and prompt with her responses. Baring few minor issues like door locks not working, we had a pleasant experience. Note: being a house next to backwaters you will find few guests (spiders and roaches) at times (especially night), there is no way to control them in my view, they have pest control done but still expect them to be around.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The host, Nicki, was wonderful to work with. She was very informative, helpful and quick to respond with any questions that we had. The home and surroundings were beautiful. The house was extremely clean, open and inviting and the views from the property and grounds were absolutely stunning. We will definitely consider future stays with Nicki and even possibly at this home again in the future.

We loved our stay at summer breeze! Hall bathroom fan needs a little attention as the noise is startling at first. The backyard was awesome! The walk to the beach was short. We had a great time. House was clean and Hosts were excellent!

Great overall place even in the off season. If traveling there at night, it can a little difficult due to how dark it is without much street light. Also, be mindful that there are three flights of stairs. Kitchen and main area is at the top floor. So lots of up and down. To unload, etc. otherwise, the house was fully stocked with all the essentials to live; plenty of cookware, utensils, plates, and drink ware as well as serving trays. Towels were provided, lots of amenities, even a poolside fridge to have your beverages. We held a men’s retreat of 10 people and was able to completely accommodate. Plenty of bathrooms and showers for everyone.

Shawn was a good host and answered all my questions very fast and gave us accommodations. The place was very clean, perfect for our family and our dog! We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

We absolutely loved our week at Outer Banks. Sushma was a great host, the house is situated in a beautiful area and has everything you could wish for. The beaches and in particular the sunsets were breathtaking. We enjoyed long walks at the beach and the pool and jacuzzi afterwards!

Our stay at Isle Be Back was just what our family of nine needed. My mother, in-laws, husband, and our four kids fit perfectly in this house. A cozy home with comfy beds and pillows, nicely updated bathrooms with the softest towels, and a fully furnished kitchen to cook all our meals. We enjoyed the pool and appreciated the second refrigerator out in the pool area. James was quick to respond with any questions we had and exhausted all resources to find an answer. Great host!

Jeff and Sue's place was perfect for us, 8 adults and my elderly dog. It had plenty of rooms, bathrooms, TVs and even a piano! One of the bedrooms is actually a mother-in-law apartment with a small functional kitchen. The bed and the sheets were so comfy! It was all nice and clean. It is located in a low key, quiet residential neighborhood. Our stay was pleasant. Our hosts were very responsive. It was as described and in the pictures. Yes, I would stay there again. Gray and Alison’s place was great! The backyard was our favorite place, it was clean, well furnished, and has a beautiful pool. The dogs loved running around the yard! The house was clean, well organized, and comfortable. The house is a terrific, safe location with easy access to anything you need or want. Yard is well manicured and really peaceful. Would definitely rent again.

Loved everything about this home. Perfect for us to relax and enjoy all that the Outer Banks has to offer. Great location all around. Beautiful walk to the sound to watch the sunsets. Pet Friendly homes are hard to find sometimes and this one fit us very well with a nice size yard for our little one to enjoy. Would def recommend and would books again!

This cottage was the perfect place for some time away from the city. It was perfect walking distance to the ocean and the neighborhood is beautiful.

We had a wonderful visit in the Outer Banks & Jason's listing is in a great location, convenient to many restaurants & activities. The place was as described. Jason was responsive to our requests. As others have said, you can hear the family above walking around a bit, but it was not loud or bothersome. It was our dog's first stay in an Airbnb and it was all we were looking for. Pup-approved!

Great little cabin...very close to the beach...easy walk, or just a 1 minute drive to Jeanette's Pier. All the restaurants and shopping to the north/All the peace and solitude to the south...Both are great. The house is great. Very comfortable beds and living room furniture. Patio area out front with a grill for the nice nights. We had some ugly weather roll in, so it was nice to sit out on the screened-in porch to stay dry. Would absolutley choose to stay here again on a future trip.

We had a great stay. The fenced in back yard was wonderful with our dogs and was a peaceful place to sip our morning coffee.

This is my third time staying at Barb's and each time it does not disappoint. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood; always feel safe. Barb's is the best and in my opinion only place to stay when visiting OBX. Perfectly located to shops and restaurants in less than 5 minutes, yet serene as it backs up to the state park. The house has all the amenities you need for a perfect stay. It feels like you are home. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. You wont find a better place to stay in OBX.

Great spot. Quiet for winding down for the night. Yet close enough to the bright spots of OBX - beach, restaurants, etc. Would definitely return.

Marsha was an excellent host. The place is exactly as pictured and described. She’s extremely clear with her instructions and recommendations! She also sent her daughter to help us when we had vehicle trouble and she wasn’t in town!
