Magical swedish cottage located between the forrest and the sea. The arrival by boat is a truly unique experience. Daniel's house is very well equipped and comfy, and he is a very responsive host. Definitely deserves a 5 star rating !!

A unique place that welcomes any family that would love a winter or summer stay near Stockholm. We just loved our stay at Magdalena's and Daniel's home. A great location to wonder around, discover and shuttle boat to Stockholm. The home itself left us astonished with a sense of design simplicity that we will definitely take with us. The kids loved the garden and even if there was a bit of noise coming from the highway it was merely audible in the garden itself, nothing inside. You have many walking trails starting at walking distance from the house itself. Daniel was a super helpful, attentive and kind host. We thank them very much for letting us stay in their amazing and warm home.

We had such a lovely stay. The house is beautiful - well cared for and wonderfully designed - and the panoramic view of the archipelago is amazing. We spent a few days just swimming from the private jetty and enjoying the view but the location is also a short drive to Nacka Strand, so we took the commuter ferry to visit Stockholm too. Chicki also particularly recommended the Artipelag gallery near Gustavsberg, so we had a lovely day there too, enjoying their sculpture trail through the forest by the sea. I would very much recommend this lovely Airbnb, its location and the helpful hosts.

very easy and quick communication. everything as described. very good connection for the city. walking paths right behind the house. fully equipped kitchen. would come back immediately! the shower was great! if you have the opportunity, book the sauna, unique experience!

The view from the house is idyllic and incredibly peaceful and we enjoyed the rowing boat, the floating sauna, picking blueberries and a few days out to Sandhamn and Vaxholm. The house has everything you need from an outdoor dining table, a barbecue and a terrace to enjoy the view and it is only 45 minutes by car from Stockholm. We had a great time and Jack was the perfect host. We can definitely recommend this place.

We are thrilled to have found this gem for our winter getaway with friends in Vaxholm! The location is perfect—conveniently close to the bus, ferry, and with its own parking space, yet wonderfully peaceful. The house exceeded our expectations with its spaciousness and charm. It had plenty of room for everyone and came fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. It truly felt like a home with a soul, making our stay special. Mary-Rose, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive, answering all our questions promptly and ensuring we felt well-prepared for our stay. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient retreat in Vaxholm!

Very good holiday time and so relax

Great house in a nice, quiet location! The house was very clean, and it was easy to communicate with Alex and Emma. We enjoyed evening swims at the nearby dock. We also enjoyed swimming and kayaking at Solviksbadet a few tram stops away. We greatly appreciated that Alex and Emma had removed some of their stuff, so there were plenty of drawers and closet space available. Thank you for being such terrific hosts!

Fabulous house, beautifully restored and decorated. Great location by the water to watch the boats go by and for a morning swim :) Very well equipped kitchen. Börje is a great host, greeted us at check-in and took time to explain everything. Always quick to respond to messages.
