ATTENTION SNOWMOBILERS: This is the place for you! Ride 500 ft to the snowmobile trail! Portable AC unit in the living room only. The bedrooms have regular fans. Wi-Fi has just been installed! Just 1 mile to Mio or 10 miles to MaDeeters! This is a wonderful 1350 square-foot home. It is located in a very nice little neighborhood just 1 mile from downtown Mio and the beautiful AuSable River. Perfect for snowmobiling, ATVs, off-road vehicles, and hunting!

The Dollar Inn - Rural home with modern amenities

There's plenty of space to enjoy and relax with the whole family at our home that sits on its own 2.5 acres. This is the perfect place to relax and sit around the campfire, but also with the perks of high speed internet. Our home is in a remote location, but the small town of Fairview is only two miles away to stock up on supplies. We are also close to the AuSable river for tubing or fishing, golf courses, and Hoist Lake foot trails.

We absolutely loved our 3 nights at Don's camp! He was so nice and informative on fishing. We did 3 kayak trips and 1 tubing trip. The boys loved fishing all day. We ate great food by the fire. The camp was very cozy and clean. If you love the Ausable, you will love staying here!

This is such a cozy cabin (brand new it seems, too) and Teresa made us feel right at home! It's so quiet and peaceful at this cabin, with the lake just across the street- a short walk away. The stove was cozy and warm and the fenced in dog run on the back was really convenient! We did experience one small snafu while we were there, but Teresa was quick to respond and accommodate the concern. Thankfully there's enough service (with Verizon anyway) to usually be able to send and receive messages! Fantastic property, we hope to be back!

John’s cabin was perfect for a family snowmobile weekend! Lots of bedroom space and enough seating in the living room for everyone. Large enough driveway for trucks and trailer. We could ride right from the cabin with trails just down the road. Getting to a gas station to fill up was also very easy. There was tons of snow and great trails. In the summer, this would also be a great place for quads or side-by-sides. John was a great host. He was very communicative and helpful.

Was well worth the cost. Very private and quiet everyone and surrounding areas, maintained their property and kept themselves. Was a great area to go for walks with the pup. If you’re looking for the middle of nowhere, quiet night and a place like home comfortable, this is a place to be. lots and lots of places for kayaking, swimming and fishing. If you’re outdoors, you must go here.

Can't say enough about this place! Some reviews mentioned having issues finding it, but with the signs for the house, we found it quickly and easily. There are a couple neighbors on either side, but they are spread out and the house felt quiet and private. There is easy access to Mio which is small but has everything you need. We also had great access to plenty of great grouse hunting. The setting was beautiful with large windows. This was probably the most well-stocked Airbnb I've ever been in in terms of kitchen equipment, games, drinkware, etc. The space is really divided into 2 areas with the game room/bar area providing the rustic cabin vibes we were looking for during our stay and the main home providing plenty of comfort and space. There was a TV in the game room with an HDMI but no channels or anything to plug into it, so if you want to watch TV make sure you bring something to plug in. The Wi-Fi in the house was great, but doesn't extend into the game room very well.
