Chandera Kothi is right on the Betwa River, on the edge of Orchha. It offers serene, high-quality accommodation. Made from pressed earth and mudbrick and using reclaimed materials - with a focus on sustainability - CK is surrounded by crops and greenery. A genuinely boutique property, the 4 rooms are spacious with good ensuite wetroom, and gorgeously decorated by a combination of new and period furniture and decoration. There was good wifi. Rooms are accessed up 10-ish stairs - so CK would not be for those with mobility issues. The food was something special - local dishes, prepared on site and served outside in good weather or in a charming mubrick pavilion. We went vegetarian and there was a generous array of options. Breakfast was included, but other meals are available for reasonable prices. In addition to the 2 staff who looked after us, Madhur was a helpful, kind and interesting host - our thanks. This place has something special that sets it apart. Absolutely recommended.

Abhishek is very friendly and helpful. The rooms match the photos, and we were very happy that a heater was provided as it was cold while we were there. There were also some provisions in the kitchen which was very thoughtful. The only downside is that each room is separate and access is via the balcony.

Super awesome place for pet lover people . Huge property with the touch of nature and village , you and your pet dog can enjoy little away from the hustle of city . Robert and Browny two male indie dogs at property adds the cherry on the cake . Host is very polite and responsive . Highly recommended place .
