Chandera Kothi is right on the Betwa River, on the edge of Orchha. It offers serene, high-quality accommodation. Made from pressed earth and mudbrick and using reclaimed materials - with a focus on sustainability - CK is surrounded by crops and greenery. A genuinely boutique property, the 4 rooms are spacious with good ensuite wetroom, and gorgeously decorated by a combination of new and period furniture and decoration. There was good wifi. Rooms are accessed up 10-ish stairs - so CK would not be for those with mobility issues. The food was something special - local dishes, prepared on site and served outside in good weather or in a charming mubrick pavilion. We went vegetarian and there was a generous array of options. Breakfast was included, but other meals are available for reasonable prices. In addition to the 2 staff who looked after us, Madhur was a helpful, kind and interesting host - our thanks. This place has something special that sets it apart. Absolutely recommended.

The stay was very nice. The hosts are very much helpful and even explained us about Orchha. The hospitality was great. They even provided tea and some other small eatables. Highly recommended. Exceptional hosts.

Abhishek was really friendly and responsive. He was always a phone call away at each and every help. The place was clean though it was at 4th floor. Had a pleasant and hassle free stay there

We had a fantastic experience with Meena ji as our host! She went above and beyond to ensure a seamless stay, even offering to arrange an auto to Orcha for our convenience. The place itself has a delightful old-era charm and is perfectly located close to all major attractions in Jhansi. But the cherry on top was the delicious breakfast- crispy, flaky parathas that left us craving for more! Meena ji's warm hospitality and attention to detail made our stay truly unforgettable.
