There are no words for what an incredible host Luke was. With an airbnb like this and a host like Luke, there is no need to stay in a resort. Luke transported us to and from the airport, made restaurant reservations, lagoon cruise bookings and fishing enquiries for us. He shared his local knowledge and kind hospitality with us for which we are so grateful and it made our time on Aitutaki so special. We can't recommend this place more.

Helen is one of those special hosts who goes above and beyond for her guests, genuinely caring about their well being. For example, we checked out today and went to the airport to depart the island. Much to my surprise and appreciation, Helen showed up at the airport some time later with 4 important items I had left behind. She had no obligation to do this but it truly made my day a lot easier! Aside from that, she was responsive to all the questions we had, which made our holiday there even more enjoyable. The unit is separate from the house and has everything you would need for cooking meals. It's about a 15 minute walk to the town centre but a car or a scooter is recommended as the walk back is a bit uphill and having a vehicle is the most efficient way to explore the island. Highly recommended, we would definitely return here.

Pira is kind, nice and makes you feel home in her small bungalow located south east of Aitutaki. It is a nice, quiet and windy place with great view on the lagoon from the terrace. Bungalow has everything you need for your stay, plus extra bottled drinking water. Fantastic place to stay on Aytutaki.

This Villa is situated at the best location in the island. Your front yard is basically the lagoon. The villa was spacious and all of the amenities were great. There are air conditioning units in each bedroom for those hotter days. Nora was super helpful and responsive. Richard, Nora’s dad, was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the island. He gave us tons of information. Richard also owns a boat and took us on a private lagoon tour. He is a retired fisheries officer with over 30 years of experience and still volunteers to help with conservation efforts of the island. Amazing family and an amazing stay.
