Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ontonagon County

We had a great time !!! The Swiss hut 1 and 2 provided us our needs after a long day of exploring the area. Cozy and warm . Great place to gather with friends and family. Thank you and hope we can come back in the near future.

John was quick to respond and gave us clear instructions. There is plenty of parking and it is a great place to stay for a snowmobile trip.

Rachael's place was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for a snowmobile trip. There is great access to the local trail network plus there is gas, food, and a convenience store at the konteka down the road. The space was amazing, clean, and inviting. The heated floors were amazing! Having a Roku TV made it easy to login to Amazon prime and YouTube TV to catch the playoffs NFL games as well. I would recommend this place to anyone coming up anytime of year! Rachael was also super responsive when messaging to reserve the home and once we were there.

We had a great time. The guests are friends and the great room was so nice for socializing. We got to go riding and experienced sights we never saw before and some we did!

House was very pleasant, peaceful location, and clean. Angela and Brian had a very thoughtful setup with many little extras in case we forgot something. Great value, very spacious. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to ski.

We’ve been here before and we absolutely love everything about it! Host was extremely kind, in that, host went and turned on inside lights for us when we were arriving late….because it’s dark in the up north!!

We are repeat visitors to Kristy’s house. This is a great stay with everything you need - full kitchen, basic bathroom products, and plenty of space. We enjoy the proximity to the ski resorts and local restaurants/stores. Great central location.

The house was clean comfortable and well-appointed. we're surprised at how new the interior was and thoughtful. it was one of our best Airbnb experiences.

The cutest and coziest apartment ever!! Ewelina is an amazing host! Fully stocked kitchen, and bathroom, and instructions for how to use the fire place!

This is a perfect place if you are skiing at the Snowriver Mountain hills. The place is a little dated and the walls are a little thin, but we didn't want to spend our days in the condo so it didn't bother us. Peter is very polite and responsive.

Great stay! There was a slight oil/gasoline smell due to it being above an engine repair shop, but this was mentioned in the listing so it wasn’t a surprise. Other than that it was clean and in a nice location :)

Our group had a blast here for a weekend of skiing! It was great to be right on the run. The wood stove was so cozy after long days of skiing. The hosts are very responsive, which was so appreciated. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Kassi’s place will stay on our list of places to revisit! We went for a skiing weekend getaway with our 3 year old black lab. It was a very quick 2 minute drive to Big Powderhorn mountain which was super convenient. The place was exactly what we needed. A small, but very cute and cozy loft. The king bed was to die for. We felt right at home for our time away! It’s also decorated super fun. A big comfy couch was perfect for relaxing after a day on the mountain. Our pup, Walter, loved running around in the snow (we got 6+ inches during the 3 nights!) and made some friends with the neighbors in the building. Everyone was friendly and Kassi was incredibly fast at responding. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Myron was a great host, proactive communication to make sure everything was good. Great condo for a ski trip, our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. He had lots of fun amenities like a popcorn maker, glove dryer, foot warmer, blankets, games and more. It all definitely helped make our stay that much more fun and enjoyable.

Great location, ski in/ski out. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, clean, nice furniture, nice TV w/cable, close to Jacks Sky Bar.

We stay in the Ironwood area a few times a year and have experienced a handful of different rentals. This one was fantastic! Simple keypad entry, extremely clean, updated amenities, and everything else we hope for. The building seems to be in the process of being fully refreshed, and they did a great job on this unit. We won’t hesitate to book it again!

Such a great condo for a nice ski trip in the UP! The place is spotless which I really appreciate, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the beds were comfy. Super easy access to the slopes at Snow River. Loved it and would definitely stay here again! Host is super responsive and proactive with instructions.

I've stayed at Calley's places slopeside at Black River Basin a number of times. She is a great host - communicative, responsive and flexible. Her places are the best location for skiing in the area and have everything you need. See prior reviews for more info.

Loved staying here. The room was amazing, very homey and thoughtful. And the building is cool. We come here to ski every year and am hoping to book this same room next year!

Alexis and Luke are great hosts! They were very proactive in communicating leading up to our arrival and prior to our check out. Instructions for the lockbox, keys and garbage were very clear. We have stayed there before but for first timers, the instructions on how to get to the lodge were very clear also. They always had wood stocked at the entrance for the fireplace which was super nice. Very clean and cozy. It's ideal for skiing in and out at Black River Basin. We love staying at the Bunkhouse and will be back!

This was a great place to stay for a ski trip to Big Powderhorn and Snowriver. Hard to find affordable places that allow dogs so we were excited to find this. We will definitely be back!
