Vacation rentals with lake access in Ontonagon County

Ashely was very responsive and helpful. I booked her place for my husband and friends for a fishing trip. They stayed the place was great and plan to book it again in the future.

The perfect place for our group. Check in was super simple. We were ahead of schedule so Casey let us check in early, which was greatly appreciated. Very close to the lake, Antonio’s, and gas. Perfect for our sled group big area to park trailers as well. Will more than likely be staying here again.

Wonderful location on Lake Superior, close to the state park, and a 12 mile drive into town if you need to go. Beach offers beautiful unobstructed views of the sunset. Well stocked with firewood and kindling for the fire pits and the sauna. Location allows for quiet time and rest. Kitchen allows you to cook your own large meals and enjoy in a dining table that can seat eight easily. Front room is perfect for conversation or games for a large group. Bathrooms had showers with good water pressure. Sauna was well maintained, with the fire starting up easily, and heating up in due time. This is the perfect place for a family vacation. We had grandparents, parents, and kids at this beautiful hermitage. Ten out of 10 - would recommend!

Interior was impeccably clean. Everything was as described and in good working order. We had a great time and would rent again.

The house was exactly as described and in the perfect outdoor recreation area. There is a great pizza place within walking distance and other restaurants nearby. The house had plenty of space to spread out and everything needed to make your stay more comfortable. I highly recommend staying here to anyone.

The cabin was more than the pictures! We didn't have any problems, but Emily was quick to message on our way to check in. The cabin is setup with Google Home which was very sweet and they have the cabin fully stocked with everything you may need. Forgot coffee, spices, or anything at all, they have it there. We were visiting for a snowmobile trip and the direct access to the lake was perfect and puts you in line with everything, trails, rentals, Bergland, and restaurants. This place exceeded expectations and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend Emily's place 20 on a scale of 10! Thank you for the great experience.

it's a beautiful house in an amazing spot. I will say the half bath in the master is tiny and if you are taller that 6 ft use the other toilet. I was lovely overall. RockHounds sidenote....when you turn left out of the driveway, you only have to drive a mile for amazing rocks at a public spot. We found 4 agates one morning. 😄

Dan's place is great! Cozy and basically everything you're going to need. Location was perfect for our snowmobile trip, easy access to the trails! Dan was very helpful with any questions that we had! Thx Dan! Look forward to coming back!!

Amazing, Peaceful Getaway We had an excellent stay at this property! The location is wonderfully private, situated on a large piece of land that offers peace and quiet. The screened-in porch was a standout feature—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying the outdoors without worrying about bugs. The Sunset Cottage is in a fantastic location in the UP that can be enjoyed year round. The place is close the Porcupine Mountains and not a far drive/snowmobile ride from Lake Gogebic. Visited for a quick snowmobile get away. There is plenty of room to park multiple recreational vehicle trailers on the property. The host was very accommodating to let us park our trailer on the property before we were scheduled to check in. The host stocked the unit with pasta and sauce which was convenient to have after a day of riding. Be sure to make it back to take in the sunsets on the beach of Lake Superior. We would definitely stay in the future when we return to the UP

My wife and I stayed for a week long ice fishing trip. The cabin did not disappoint. It was extremely clean and cozy, had everything we needed and was nice and warm. Dan was the best air bnb host I have ever had. Great communication and hospitality, he even saved the trip by helping out with an equipment issue. He also offered to come pull my truck out of the snow when I got stuck off the property somewhere else after asking him for towing recommendations. All around great cabin and great host, we will most definitely stay here again on future trips to Lake Gogebic!

Cabin is in a great location. Plenty of room for snowmobile trailers and snowmobile parking. Trails are right across the road.
