Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ontonagon County

We had a great time !!! The Swiss hut 1 and 2 provided us our needs after a long day of exploring the area. Cozy and warm . Great place to gather with friends and family. Thank you and hope we can come back in the near future.

Interior was impeccably clean. Everything was as described and in good working order. We had a great time and would rent again.

My Dad and I stayed at Steve's place for a quick snowmobile trip in the UP for 2 nights. His house was perfect, very clean and had everything you need for a perfect home away from home experience, will definitely be back if we're ever up that way again! Thanks for sharing your home with us!!

we stayed for work! coming back each night after a Long Day's work it was nice to have a lot of space and more than one shower. we had our pets and the dogs absolutely loved being by the water! would stay again for sure if we ever work in the area again

Private country home. Very clean, great host. The shower is the best. Very different, very unique. It’s just straight up my favorite shower ever. Like, in my life lol. I’m putting one in my place now. You will have to see for yourself.

Joy's beautiful cottage was a fantastic place for us to stay while exploring the Porcupine Mountains and the surrounding areas. Her home was spotless and so very organized. She included so many extra touches to make us feel at home (shampoo, conditioner, napkins, foil, coffee, tea etc.). Joy was so friendly, helpful and responsive. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We would absolutely stay again. Thank you Joy.

Greg was very responsive and flexible with our stay. He was very empathetic and helpful. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. The house was perfect for our family and met our needs. The fall colors in the U.P. are breathtaking and there are no words to describe the scenery. Absolutely charming and perfect.

The place was easy to find thanks to the host’s clear instructions and was spotless when we arrived. The apartment was cute and perfectly centralized for our overnight stay while we drove around the UP and Northern Wisconsin for the weekend and was worth the price. I would definitely recommend this location if anyone is considering staying in the area!

A great location. In walking distance to a ski lift. The place was clean and it was awesome being able to have a fire in the fire place. Peter checked in with us in person to see if we needed anything. Also, he was very responsive to a couple questions I had prior to arriving. We will be back.

This is a perfect place if you are skiing at the Snowriver Mountain hills. The place is a little dated and the walls are a little thin, but we didn't want to spend our days in the condo so it didn't bother us. Peter is very polite and responsive.

Our group had a blast here for a weekend of skiing! It was great to be right on the run. The wood stove was so cozy after long days of skiing. The hosts are very responsive, which was so appreciated. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

We were in the area to visit the porcupine mountains and Joseph's basement apartment worked great. We were about 30 minutes from the western tip of the park. We packed a lunch and spent our days in the mountains. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for making meals along with various travel brochures for options of what to do in the area.
