Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Onslow County

My family stayed for a month at Steve’s place and I can’t say enough great things about it. It was honestly the perfect stay. Location was great, floor plan of the house worked perfectly with my family of 5, back yard was perfect for our 2 dogs, beds were comfortable, kitchen was perfect setting for cooking family dinners. I could go on and on. I highly recommend this place for any family get away. It also could be a great spot for a girls weekend away. The beach is close by in Emerald Isle along with being close to the beautiful waterfront town of Swansboro.

This charming coastal stay is surprisingly spacious and perfect for families. The loft room is a hit with kids, giving them their own fun space to unwind. We especially appreciated the second shower upstairs—it made cleaning up after beach days so much easier. For slightly longer stays future guests should consider bringing or picking up a few essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, and dishwasher packets to make your stay extra comfortable. We had a wonderful vacation, we highly recommend and will stay again for future visits to the area.

We stayed a few days after evacuating from the storm in WNC. We needed a quiet, peaceful place that was somewhat close to Wilmington. This was all of that and more. The back deck and the dock were peaceful places to hang out any time of day. The house is well stocked and very clean. The beds and furniture are comfortable. There is a restaurant within walking distance and many more minutes away. Beach is minutes away also. Definitely recommend staying here!

This little house was the perfect beach stay. The wrap around deck with steps that lead to the sand, private beach access, and big window views of the ocean were amazing. I will emphasize that it is exactly as advertised, “little house on the beach” with one shared bathroom, 2 small bedrooms, and a living room/kitchen this is a perfect spot for a couple, small family, or just a few adults. If you’re trying to save and fit more the beds will accommodate just want to caution it will be cramped! The house was spotless and stocked with everything we needed.

Great location, private, serene and peaceful. The Jacuzzi was amazing, watched the sunset every night. Tonya was very attentive, answered questions quickly. She gave great check in Instructions and checked in on day 2 to see if our needs were met. She gave check out instructions the night before. Great location with resturants, walking distance to the beach. Sunrise Bagel shopa must try. We were there during the off season, but, North Topsail beach ⛱️ offers a nice location to find shells 🐚 😀. We would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for both serene views of the sound and easy access to the beach this is the best place. This home has both! The hot tub & pool are an added bonus along with a fence to not have to worry about kids or pets. Really enjoyed the fire pit and grill as well. Plenty of room for family or friends. Kitchen was fully stocked with needs like spices, oil, foil and Tupperware which is always a great thing to have.

The host was extremely responsive. Loved the place. Everything in Surf City is super close. Had a great stay. Would rent again!

My family recently stayed at Joseph’s place and had a wonderful experience! The location was unbeatable—just a short, easy walk to the beach, which made it so convenient for quick trips back and forth. The inside of the rental was spotless and well-maintained, and it had all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. From kitchen supplies to cozy furniture, nothing was missing. We also felt incredibly safe throughout my stay, with secure entrances. Overall, it was the perfect place for a relaxing beach getaway, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free, comfortable stay by the beach!

Beautiful place on the beach with everything you need. Renee’s place was clean, spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We stayed comfortably with a family of 6. The views of the ocean are great, and it’s an easy walk to the beach. A great location for a family trip if you want to hang out on the beach and cook meals from the house (kitchen is really well stocked). We would definitely stay here again!

Jeremy and Melissa's place was great. Just as described. You can see and hear the ocean from the balcony. When my daughter left her beloved stuffed animal, they responded right away and helped me make arrangements to get it back to her. Lovey home, lovely hosts!

This place was perfect for my family! It was beautiful, comfortable, and had the basic necessities. It’s all the things you hope to have when staying outside of your own home. 1000/10 would recommend this place and will definitely return in the future!

Really enjoyed our time here. It is very close to the beach and also beach access. The kitchen is quite large and accommodates cooking a large meal. We have three kids and there was plenty of room to sleep comfortably. Not sure how crowded this part of the beach gets in the Summer, but the location is amazing and not having to find parking is such a benefit for this area. Secluded environment, yet not more that 15 minutes from a full grocery store. You are sort of limited on TV options here to what apps are on the tv (the rules ask you not to add any apps) so a firestick of your own or an HDMI cord to connect your laptop is something I would recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice spot in Surf City, very spacious and conveniently located, near most of places in town and to Topsail and other beches for day trips. The house is well stock with all essentials you need for weekend break and even more, just perfect for up to two families with kids, my kids always enjoy bunk beds and games. Kayaks were a plus, all in good shape and dock is very near just to walk. Nick was very responsive and prompt for any questions, will return when visiting Wilmington.

We had a great time! House was very spacious loved the floor plan with family room on the first floor , plenty of bathrooms an added bonus and the peaceful environment and convenience to things like supermarket and stores. Definitely would come back and reccomend !

Great place, with lots of light in the mornings and super cozy inside! I enjoyed walking my dog in the neighborhood, and the best part was how close to the beach I was!

We had a wonderful stay. Brittany's home was beautiful and just as described. We chose to rent the golf cart and didn't not have to move our car the whole stay. Brittany responded quickly to my questions from securing the rental to the actual rental itself. The home had nice dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. It is a short walk to the beach and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We definitely recommend.

The house was as described. I love visiting that part of North Topsail and finding a house big enough for our family was wonderful. Access to the beach is right across the road and since it's private, it wasn't busy at all. Thank you.
