The Happiest Place on Earth-warming up for winter!

We'd like to share our happy place with you - a place to unwind and rediscover what's important but with some of life’s luxuries. And in May, we’re adding in some warmth with wood for the fireplace, cozy blankets, water bottles and a heater or 2! Our cottage has many spots to gather - around the large kitchen counter, the spacious dining table, the verandah, in the living room, shooting pool or playing darts or, our favourite, around the firepit. There is no doubt you'll find a place to connect!

Charming house with seperate one bedroom flat that feels like holiday. Beautiful mountain views and walking distance from lagoon and swimming beach. Close to excellent restaurants and shops. Hermanus is just a few kilometres away. Due to the nature of the town we very strictly do not allow any parties or loud music, as set out in the house rules. Unfortunately no group bookings for under 25’s. Inverter and battery powered during load shedding-ensuring continious power to the property.

Sheltered in the summer by a lush canopy, in winter, stripped bare, inviting in the blue skies. In stormy cold weather a combustion oven works it's magic warming "THE TINY" making for cosy winter cuddling! The small forest forms part of LOKAL, a 1ha property, with an vegetable garden , Orchards of fruit & nuts, some chickens & the Garden Cottage.

Uninterrupted views of the ocean and mountains make it an unforgettable, chilled holiday. Please notice uneven rocky area.

The living room, main bedroom and courtyard have wonderful sea views. Braai outside, go fishing, enjoy the plenty of marine life between the rocks, walk the coastal path for kilometers and enjoy the world class beaches of Hermanus. Or, just relax with a book and play games with family and friends with a cozy fire in the background.

Cozy 2 bedroomed double-storey log cabin, with two bathrooms. Queen size bed, double bed and single bed on the mezzanine. The wild horses often graze in front of the cabin and at times there are hundreds of terns and flamingos! Fully equipped for self-catering.

This cosy, friendly home, beautifully situated on the Vermont Salt Pan is a perfect get away for the whole family. The mountain views are exceptional, bird life plentiful and the tranquility will be hard to beat. Evening braais on the north facing under cover patio, overlooking the Pan will be unforgettable. Cliff path to two stunning tidal pools only 5 mins walk away.
