Vacation rentals in Onrus River

The historic Herbert Baker design provided a comfortable and homely space to dwell in. Our family felt at home immediately. Its was a privilege to have spent the few days at this property.

What a stunning vacation property - a home away from home which is clean and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The property has been tastefully decorated with an artistic flair and Tuscan look and feel. Vanessa has taken the time to ensure guest satisfaction by adding all the little extras (books, games, condiments and basic toiletries, as well as treats and bedding for pets). Our dogs were able to explore the property safely as the entire perimeter of the house is fully secured. If you have binoculars, remember to bring them with so you can enjoy the abundance of birdlife and nature that inhabits the surrounding rocky areas. From a wonderful, sparkling pool on warm summer days to a scenic coastal walk to the Harbour, you can exercise yourself and fur babies as often as you like. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again in the near future. Thanks for all your efforts Vanessa which were greatly appreciated by all.

What a beautiful location in walking distance (one road back) from the beach and lagoon with board walks along the coast. Very spacious and had everything we needed. We had a lovely time with our family and kids.

What a gem of a place! Perfect home away from home for a peaceful and relaxed family holiday. The most beautiful views from both decks. We loved watching the birds enjoy the back garden and flowers. We even made friends with one of the local birds - Toto. The house is perfectly situated to walk to Silversands beach and the penguin sanctuary. A nice easy walk, even for Ouma whi joined us. Annie is an amazing host and responded promptly to any requests or questions. The info she left of the area was very handy. We will definitely book again at this beautiful Sea Cottage.

We had such an incredible stay at Rene's place! Great location, clean, and really kind and helpful host. We loved the outdoor shower! Walking distance to the rock pools and beach and a short drive to Hermanus and the town. We can't wait to come back to visit.

I had a fantastic stay at The Stanford getaway! The location is perfect - just a short walk from the center of town. The amenities were excellent, and the decor was absolutely beautiful, making it a truly cozy and inviting space. I hope to stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommend!

Leon's place was amazing! The views were stunning, and the interior was beautifully designed, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the braai, cozy fireplaces, spacious well equipped kitchen, pristine and modern bathrooms, and really comfortable beds. Nestled in the hills of a peaceful farm, it felt both cozy and secluded, yet it was an easy drive to nearby vineyards and a bit further to the gorgeous beaches of Hermanus. Leon and his daughter were excellent and welcoming hosts.

My boyfriend and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and wow was it everything we were hoping for & more! The place was uniquely beautiful, ideal location, peaceful and the outside area was so beautiful and romantic! The place was spotless and we felt immediately comfortable. Somehow the hosts read our minds because everything we forgot/needed was readily available in the kitchen. The hammock and boogy board were a great addition and made our holiday even more fun! Thank you, thank you for the wonderful stay, we will definitely be back again.

Our stay was sublime. The views are breathtaking and already missing the amazing sunsets. The beach access was great and we walked the area extensively with our Belgian Shepherd who really enjoyed the garden area. The house has everything you need, the beds were really comfortable.
