Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ometepe

The place is beautiful, great views in front of the lake, and truly surrounded by nature. Only was it can be hard to reach as the road isnt the best-- but i personally feel it adds to the secluded and tranquil beauty the location offers. I highly recommened! I was so comfortable here, and my new husband and I spent two days just lounging around on the porch in the hammock and swimming in the lake!

The house is really cool! The shower was super hot. And it felt like we were outside in nature. We saw a shooting star and could hear the howler monkeys early in the morning.

This was an absolute lovely place to stay! If you love the country, sunsets, & being near the water, this is definitely it! It is a hike into town, but not a bad hike. Having some sort of transportation would make it perfect tho. The house has everything you could possibly need for short or long term stay. All you need is groceries! I will definitely make another trip here! And, the outdoor accommodations have everything! Hammocks, chairs, rockers, picnic table & benches, a place to grill, an outdoor sink, & plenty of lighting, & plug ins. And, you can sit & have coffee & watch the cows being herded down to the lake. There’s also a little bar next door & they rent paddle boards. If you’re looking for a nice, quiet place to get away, this is definitely it! The host is awesome & Flanklin, who picked me up at the dock is a gem! And, Helem, who let me in & showed me around was very sweet! 100% recommend!

We loved this place! The garden setting right next to the lake is magical. Perfect evening sunsets over the water surrounded by fireflies, and the hammocks are a beautiful place to relax with tropical flowers all around. The house is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped with almost brand new kitchen ware. The bedrooms are really spacious and with huge beds. Lesbia and her mother (also called Lesbia) were friendly hosts. And we’d highly recommend the idyllic kayak tour. You can arrange it with Lesbia for whatever time of day you like and you set off right from the garden. The guide (Nestor) was really informative and spoke quite good English.

Nothing bad to say about Hector y Isabel's place. Hector was such an amazing host who is so gracious and knowledgeable about the beautiful island of Ometepe. He gave us a great deal on renting his motorcycle and even brought in his sister in law to teach us how to cook local cuisine. If you ask nicely, he might even bring you up the hill and show you his beautiful farm on the side of the Maderas Volcano. Great location right on the beach and close to restaurants and 2km or so to Ojo De Agua. Do yourself a favor and stay in this great spot. Thanks Hector!

What a magical place, we fell in love with Finca Omotepe! The farm is stunning with the most beautiful flowers and tons of butterflies and birds. We got so lucky, two sets of goats were born while we were here and they let us go in and hold them whenever we wanted (which was daily!) the “little house” is actually quite large and well appointed. Great kitchen, connectable beds, solid AC in o e if the rooms, and strong WiFi. We didn’t use the other room. The location is great, so glad we stayed on this part of the island. 10/10 would stay again and recommend highly to anyone visiting.
