Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Olympic Valley

This is our favorite place to stay in the wintertime at Tahoe Donner! It is walking distance to the downhill ski area which is a perfect place for kids learning to ski. The condo is comfortable, well-appointed and clean.

My family felt very comfortable in Suzanne's condo. There was plenty of room and the amenities were great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need. The beds were very comfortable. The best part of the stay was having Suzanne as a host. She was very quick to respond to our questions and gave exact directions to find the condo.

Our family had a fantastic stay at this charming condo in the Tahoe area. The place was impeccably clean and had a very homey vibe, making us feel comfortable right away. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils, which made cooking a breeze. Despite arriving at night, we found the place easily, thanks to clear directions. While there are quite a few stairs to carry luggage up from the car, the effort is worth it. It's important to note that having a 4WD vehicle or chains is essential for navigating the roads during winter. However, once inside, the condo remained warm and cozy, even with outside temperatures dropping to 9 degrees. Our favorite feature was the direct access from the master bedroom to a snowy hill, perfect for sledding with the kids. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return for another family getaway!

Our four-night stay at Laurie’s place at the Marriott Grand Residence Club was perfect for our family. The two-bedroom residence was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a full kitchen, spacious living area, and comfortable beds—ideal for a relaxing getaway. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the Heavenly Gondola, restaurants, and shops, making everything easily accessible without needing a car. The heated pool, hot tubs, and common laundry added extra convenience, and the friendly staff ensured a seamless stay. For families seeking comfort, space, and top-notch convenience, this is an excellent choice. We’ll definitely be back!

Lori’s place is amazing. Cannot beat the location! Walkable to Heavenly Gondola and Village. The place is clean, well appointed and as described. We were working remotely and the WiFi was great, able to take video meetings and work. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone especially if you like a ski in/ski out option that is not in the village but a short walk away.

It is truly a beautiful place . Made it a magical Xmas for us. Perfect setting and the home is gorgeous. It’s right next to the gondola and connected to the ritz . Easy access for everything :) Kate is awesome to work with :)

The location was very convenient for a ski weekend. Tahoe Dave's is almost walkable for ski rentals; Diamond peak is 15min away and multiple other places within 30 minutes. There conveniently were some open spaces/lots right by the house that we used for a bit of sledding. It was walking distance to the lake (under half a mile). The place itself was clean, nice towels and bedding, well stocked and the washer & dryer was very convenient. The fireplace and space heater kept things comfortable. Make sure to flip the space heater to non timer mode, and don't set the heat super high or it will get quite warm in there. The sleeping setup worked fine for us (pair of adults and 2 kids). The pull out bed couch / mattress being less agreeable than the bed, but no real complaints from the kids. Was also animal friendly but no animal dirt. We brought our poodle, but I'm allergic to dogs generally. I had no allergies nor saw any dog hair at all. We'd be happy to stay there again!

Jill’s place was great for our family’s stay. She was very responsive whenever we had questions. Comfortable home in a quiet relaxing setting.

Yucheng was very responsive. The house was very warm and cozy located very close to Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski lifts. She's also a very good artist with many of her works on display!

Great location in Carnelian Bay overlooking the lake. Nice house with well stocked kitchen and amenities. Close to many Lake Tahoe destinations and host was very proactive in communication. Would recommend staying here and had a great time! Look forward to future trips.

Perfect location right across from the ski lift. Matched the description and pictures. Ally was responsive to any questions we had. Hot tub was perfect after skiing!

Amazing spot. Very comfortable and serene. Beds are perfect. Hot tub eases sore muscles at the end of a long day at Palisade. Felt like the lap of luxury for a 3 person boys ski trip.

My family had so much fun visiting Ellen’s cabin - the house was great! Location was perfect, and the house had everything we needed. Ellen was super communicative and helpful throughout our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great stay and felt right at home. The amenities were plentiful and the home was very clean. Dog friendly, but never felt like there were pets in the home. Loved the multiple decks and private rooms. Thank you Allison for sharing your home.

Bill and Ashley place was great! Yes that really is the view from the kitchen/living room. The beds were very comfortable and made for a great nights sleep. We were able to ski out to the boulder lift through the woods,and catch a quick shuttle when the day was done. Would definitely recommend.

This place was perfect for our annual snowboarding trip. It had everything we needed and although we travel somewhere different every year if I ever make it back to Palisades this will be my go to spot to stay.

Scott’s place was super cozy and spacious to stay in. It’s great for a party of 6-8 guests wanting to enjoy NorthStar resort and the slopes. There’s an on-demand shuttle that picks you right in front of the cabin and will drop you to the Visitor Transit center where the lift access is- this was really convenient. The cabin has all the things you would need for making breakfast/dinner and have a comfy weekend stay. One of my friends decided to just stay in and read during the day- the views from glass windows are the best. The guest pass will let you access hot tub/gym/sauna in the rec-center. Scott was highly responsive and super accommodating upon requests for an early check-in and letting us park our cars on the premises for a few hours after check-out. Scott will make sure that you have checked-in smoothly and answer everything super-quick if you need anything in the house. Highly recommend the cabin if you want a Tahoe getaway and want to stay in the resort to be by the slopes.

Our experience at Sibyl’s home was absolutely fantastic! The space was welcoming, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, with plenty of great spots nearby to explore, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. . We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend staying at Sibyl’s place. It’s a hidden gem, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town! The view from the window is spectacular.

Shannon's space was a cozy stay for 5 adults and 3 kiddos. We came in during a heavy snow storm so I was worried that we would have trouble finding the cabin, but Shannon's instructions were clear so we had no problem. We unfortunately experienced a power outage on our first night, but Shannon was quick to respond and kept us constantly updated. She was an amazing communicator overall and any issues we had were quickly resolved. Highly recommend!

We had a great mom’s and kids ski weekend here. Proximity to Tahoe Donner Skiing was excellent. Comfy house, thoughtful details, well-stocked kitchen. And so many board games and toys for kids. Also, really great sledding right in the yard. We would definitely stay again!
