Family-friendly vacation rentals in Old Trafford

What a fab house this is. We stayed for 6 weeks and did not want to leave. Jo was always on hand if we needed anything but the house is so well set up that we rarely did. The location is fab on a quiet back street but a COOP, Indian and nice bar all within a few mins walk. The house is really well presented and has everything you’d need for a short or longer stay. The hot tub is a great addition and the garden feels really private. All the bedrooms are a great size and perfect for couples. I can’t rate this place highly enough! Full 5 stars from us!

The place is beautiful and its exactly as described and the Hosts Susan and Neil were friendly and they got everything ready by the time we've got there. We had a great time at their Getaway. The Place was squeaky clean and it was welcoming peace and quite. The instructions guide provided by the hosts listed out everything we could do in the area and it made our stay stress free. The Hot Tub was ready for us and we enjoyed the night stay gazing at the stars and in the morning it was peaceful and quite; could hear the birds chirping. We also got to meet the Horses which elevated our experience staying at this place. We will definitely recommend this place and will soon be coming back in Summer.Great Hosts and Amazing Hospitality.

Beautiful house with home from home comforts in a lovely well kept residential area. Lots to keep us entertained… hot tub, pool, arcade games, darts, swing ball and lots of board games, which brought back childhood memories… hadn’t seen some of the games in years! And also some newer games which we hadn’t seen before. Everything was in the house as we were expecting. We were very lucky with the weather, so spent lots of time exploring local areas too. Lytham and Lytham St Anne’s are lovely… not as busy as Blackpool. Son and daughter explored Blackpool and Blackpool zoo. Model village near the zoo is worth a visit too. All are about 15-20 minutes drive. The Grapes in Wrea (about 5 mins from the house) does lovely bar food and welcomes dogs… treats, bowls and water provided.

Great place with great host. Would stay again. Location was perfect as a family wanting to visit Chester Zoo!

The apartment was lovely, clean, well kept and just as described. Sadiya was also amazing, friendly, welcoming and always quick to respond if we needed anything. She really made the stay feel easy and stress free. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Overall it was fantastic and would recommend staying here for the immediate surroundings. We had fantastic weather for April so we could sit out on the patio and enjoy the view and the kids enjoyed the garden which was big enough to play football and rounders in. The only nitpick we had were the towels provided were very hard and scratchy and after using a lovely bath or shower the towels were not nice to use. So maybe bring your own in case they are not replaced soon. Although this did not affect us as the weather was great. If it did rain a lot and you were stuck in the downstairs lounge or dining area has no view of the lovely lake you can see from outside. There are views from upstairs main bedroom windows though.

This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Richard’s place was perfect for a long weekend family getaway. The house is cosy and welcoming, with everything you need. The location is a great base to explore the surrounding countryside and in easy walking distance of several pubs and cafes in the centre of Delph. We would more than happily stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is located very close to the tram, so it was really easy to get around. It’s also very near the main station, so when we arrived from London, we just took the tram straight to the apartment — super convenient! The host was really helpful and always responded to our messages very quickly. The apartment itself was lovely and super comfortable, with lots of amenities available for use. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the TV is a smart TV too! Thank you so much! We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a last minute stay with Dave for a music event, my second time staying at the motorhome for an event. Dave is brilliant with communication and always happy to accommodate. The motorhome is exactly as described and Dave is happy to answer any questions promptly. Lovely stay yet again. Definitely recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

We had a great stay, the house is spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely secluded back garden to look out on from the living room. Beds comfy, little touches provided like extra blankets, soap stuff in bathroom etc. Really appreciated Simon's flexibility on check in time. Would stay there again.

Fantastic flat, smack in the middle of action. The Northern Quarter is fun! So many restaurants, cafes, shops. We walked to Etihad for a game and walked back—an amazing experience. The flat is stylish, clever, comfortable, and very clean. Paula is an excellent communicator. A wonderful stay.

It was overall a good stay. The only thing I was not satisfied was that I was not informed right after I booked the place that I need to return the keys to a remote location, I was only informed 2 days before the checkin date. The keynest location is the opposite direction of the airport. we booked the place because it’s close to the airport, but in reality we had to leave earlier and got a taxi to take a detour to the city center before going to the airport. After a few rounds of discussion I was informed that they cannot change the key returning location. Picking up the keys was fairly easy because we came by the train, the pickup location is by the train station. We didn’t expect much as the apartment seems like for Bnb only, and managed by an agent. Kate and Rishi are all very nice. It has all the basic things, the kitchen is fully equipped.bedrooms are ok, one is very small. Rishi responded right away when we couldn’t find dish washer capsules in the cabinet.

It was really nice and quiet.

location is great with buzzing bars and walking distance to most places and very spacious inside!

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

Fantastic luxury cottage. Ideal for exploring the Peak District. Great hosts and property for two little children to explore!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

We had a fantastic break. 2 families with kids of different ages and the dogs of course. There was more than enough space for all of us, and the house was kitted out perfectly. We absolutely loved the swim spa and hot tub. We would definitely book the house again.

This little house is so cosy with the wood burner and everything you need for a getaway in the country. Watch the kestrels hunt through the window and make friends with the goats and chickens. Wonderful little brook and woods to explore and a wee paddle around the lake as dear ran past was such a treat. This is on a farm and not a palace but if you want a private getaway on a farm with access to beautiful countryside - this does the job perfectly. A charming cottage, very close to all the local amenities in the lovely town of Holmfirth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Everything you could possible need was provided, ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay, also included was a welcoming pack which included all the basic essentials you might need on arrival and a few extras treats as well, all very much appreciated. There was excellent communication and support from Angela the host and the supporting team throughout. l hope to stay there again on a future trip.
