Highlight of our first Japan trip! 💎 Junko and Philip are warm, grounded and incredibly helpful hosts. Junko picked us up at the station and even brought us to the supermarket, where Junko kindly helped us choose what to buy — such a thoughtful gesture! The home was bigger than expected, clean and full of soul — from the CD collection, board games and a great sound system Every room had AC/heating, and we had everything we needed. The area is peaceful, the perfect contrast to Tokyo and Kyoto, which can easily get overwhelming— we were so happy to come here after exploring. They provide bikes and a folder with great tips. The bike seats were a bit hard, so we padded them with towels — fun memory! 😂 They live next door with their two kids and a lovely garden. The place has real serenity and a true Japanese feel. We’d love to return! 🙏🏼

Eri-san’s stay was the perfect place for our stay in Kyoto. The location is fantastic - close to Fushimi Inari (so we were able to go early mornings & late nights, and get beautiful views), very close to the train station and many eateries close by. Apartment was clean, spacious for two people with maybe 2 checkin bags. The kitchenette was perfect for us as we woke up very early to explore temples without people, and were able to make some quick eats and coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

The flat is spacious. We have 2 large suitcases and can open it fully. The location is near the station, just 5 mins walk. It’s easy to find and check-in. The hosts also recommended us places to eat in Osaka. Highly recommend this.

Such a lovely stay in Kyoto! After the hustle and bustle of Tokyo (and tiny hotel rooms), it was so nice to have a beautiful, quiet, calm space to spread out. A quick walk from the train station and the most perfect backyard is waiting for you with the nicest soaking tub. We ended up doing less than planned so we could enjoy the space more.

We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who showed us around the house and explained how to use the essential features. They also gave us fresh and sweet strawberries and bottled water. The house is exceptionally clean and spacious, and it even has free parking for a car! We have everything we need, and it’s conveniently located near many attractions.

Great stay at this place for our family. Close to two train stations (including loop line) with supermarket, chemist, and food options also nearby. Comfortable beds, handy washing machine and having a kitchen meant we could eat in a few times too. The garage was also handy as we hired a car (also walking distance) at the end of our stay to travel on to our next destination (Shirahama). Would stay here again if in the Osaka area.

Would stay again. Great location easy walk to very useful station for getting around but away from the busy parts of the city. Very safe feel to the community. Near a nice playground. Very clean. Plenty of space. Stairs narrow and shallow so need to be careful with small kids. Shower was unexpectedly good. Hour train ride from Kansas airport with no changes. Five minutes to universal. Absolutely loved our stay at Bijou Suites! The price was such a steal for everything offered—spacious, modern rooms with all the amenities (washer and kitchen!), and it felt like a home away from home. The location couldn’t be better: steps from the subway, walking distance to Dotonbori’s buzzing nightlife, and still quiet at night. The host was super responsive. Felt genuinely cared for, and the value is unmatched. Will 100% book again—thanks for making our Osaka trip unforgettable!

The place was greatly located, just a few steps from a park you can relax during the night or day! Also very close to 2 train station lines which made going places very convenient. The place was just perfect for 4 people to move around freely. Will surely stay here again when the opportunity presents itself!
