Éilís’ place is exceptional,one of the most comfortable and enjoyable stays I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived in freezing, icy weather, Éilís was beyond helpful and welcoming, even offering to help push my car up the driveway if I had trouble. Her kindness and thoughtfulness set the tone The space is warm, cozy, and beautifully equipped with everything you could need. The soft bedding, new shower, and comfortable couch made it feel like a retreat. The spotless kitchen, complete with an oven, air fryer, and every tool imaginable, was a joy to use. The two little chickens outside added charm, and the peace and quiet was delightful. Decorated with thoughtful touches and plants, the space felt like a true home away from home. Éilís even left cereal and milk, a thoughtful gesture that made my stay extra convenient. Everything was spotless, the WiFi was great, and I left feeling refreshed and already planning my return. The place was a phenomenal stay. We were visiting from America for a week and booked this place as it was decently in the center of Ireland. We went all over, and it was extremely comforting to have a nice place to return to every night. Highly recommend, and if I come back to visit again, I already know where I will be staying!

I believe that this was the best experience I have ever had with Airbnb. Tom and Rosie are the most wonderful hosts one could ask for. This was the first time I had traveled overseas with my children and Tom’s insights were a life saver. He had recommendations and insights for any questions or concerns I presented. The view outside of the main living area is stunning. The place is quiet and secluded, yet close enough to anywhere we wanted to visit. As much as I loved our stay for its views, I feel that the real beauty of the place are its owners. I honestly cannot say enough about Tom and Rosie. They are two of the finest people I have ever met. I truly feel both lucky and blessed to have been able to stay at their place. Una and Anna could not have been more friendlier, helpful and accommodating hosts. So responsive and keen to ensure we had a great stay. Which we did. Rose Cottage is the ultimate get away if you wish to be surrounded by nature on the shores of beautiful Loch Derg. The house is beautiful and characterful, and has everything you need to make your stay memorable. We very much hope to be back. Oh, and our two dogs loved it!! Thank you so much Una and Anna!
