This was an AMAZING SPACE!!. Great floorplan, great amenities, and it will be a perfect space for your family. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed and more.. The beds, pillows, and linens were very comfortable, and the kitchen had PLENTY of tableware and utensils for the family. My family and I will certainly return.

Nicholas was both thoughtful and responsive. We felt welcomed and right at home. Was a good location for us with an easy commute to beach by bike, or car. Thanks for having us!

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway on the water where you can unwind or explore the Norfolk/Portsmouth/Chesapeake/VA Beach area…look no further: this home is a gem. Even though in a neighborhood; the yard is secluded and the perfect place to relax and leave the chaos of life behind. Our host was charming and helpful and super communicative. Our family of 5 absolutely adored our stay and would highly recommend! Downtown Portsmouth is quaint and has some great eating establishments as well as eat access to the ferry over to Norfolk. Grocery shopping is very easy with a Kroger, Super Walmart & Food Lion all close by. I would stay here all over again if we’re ever back in the area. Holly and John are amazing, communicative hosts with a beautiful house. A block from the beach. An inviting sunroom. Most importantly everything was clean and all of the amenities and appliances worked exactly as described. We will definitely check for with John and Holly first, before our next visit to the area.

My son and daughter and I had a very nice stay. The house was as described . The fenced in back yard was very large and roomy for our dog. The kitchen was well equipped so that I could cook dinner each night. I would definitely consider renting again.

Where to begin? This home is beautiful inside & out, spotless and well equipped. We found everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We were able to serve meals, spend time together as a family and relax together. Host is extremely responsive, catering to everything we asked of her. She checked in with us just to be sure everything was as expected. All 3 beds were uber comfy and everyone had the privacy they needed. As a family of 5 we never felt cramped or like there wasn't enough space. If we ever return to the Newport News area we will definitely book this home again. Can't say enough how amazing our stay was. Thank you E for making our family event so comfortable! Five stars all around!

We came down to VA beach to celebrate Christmas with family. We were pleasantly surprised to find the house decorated for Christmas…a nice touch. The house is super cute. While we didn’t use the back patio & pool b/c of the weather, I can imagine that’s a fun place to hang out. The house is in a very fun neighborhood and a short walk to the beach. Highly recommended VA aquarium and Three Ships coffee…super close by. Thanks, Bradley!

This really is a very nice space. Very spacious and was great for our family to connect there and use as our meeting place for other family members that were in town. The master bedroom beds were so comfortable!

Clean, roomy, location with a big comfortable bed. Convenient location (marred slightly by construction on the main road). Washer/dryer including laundry soap was a bonus. Everything seemed new as if recently renovated. A malfunctioning water heater on the first night was fixed by the next afternoon - the maintenance personnel showed up very shortly after Chandler called him the next morning, and then made himself available for followup service as needed. Responses to texting or through the app were somewhat delayed, but once the water heater was fixed everything went smoothly. Another bonus was the location of a couple nice restaurants in the center next door within easy walking distance - especially nice not having to get out at night when the primary construction was happening. Very nice place - would stay there again.

Beautiful setting, walkable to the beach and a few local restaurants, next to the swimming pool & bathhouse but shrubbery for privacy, and on the water. Crystal was very responsive and helpful!! Just an overall cool spot …. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again! I provided my own RV.

We had a great time at Richard’s Airbnb. It was a great size for our family of five and we immediately felt at home. The location is great, easy to find and just behind the sand dunes by the beach. The cottage itself is very charming: we loved the ivy and the old tree in the front yard. It felt very private even though the location wass just off a major street. Norfolk has lots to do and the location of the cottage meant easy access to restaurants, museums and shopping. You have to check out the USS Wisconsin. Awesome ship.

We stayed at this Virginia Beach condo over Christmas vacation. The home was very clean and spacious and an easy walk to the beach. It was perfect for our family of six. The only drawback was the traffic noise. Even with the windows closed, we could hear the traffic all day to late into the night.

Very homey and relaxing. I will definitely be booking here again in the near future.

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here at Sarah’s place. Her place made us feel right at home and we loved everything about it. We definitely want to come back and get this place again. She was very helpful and responded right away about a router my husband needed to work from home.

This is the third time I’ve stayed at Steff’s place, and would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the NN area. Steff is super communicative host, & the accommodations are as described - I especially enjoyed the access to a kitchen with full oven!

10/10 recommend!!! Very responsive and helpful!! If I come back to this area I will be staying here again!! Thank you so much for the warm welcome and wonderful hospitality!!

Wonderful home in Northend. Easy walk to beach and walking access road. Quiet and charming. Sheppard was quick to respond and helpful. Would love to return in future!

I stayed at Julie’s place for a couple months while working in the area. She was also super helpful and accommodating. Also, her backyard is stunning. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needed a stay in the Suffolk area!!
