Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Ocean View, Norfolk

We had a late check in so having flexibility was great with the keyless entry. The place fit our family of four very well. The view and closeness to the beach was a plus as we were able to walk there and catch the sunrise. We rested well on the beds which is always great and relaxed in the living room and kitchen areas. It was a great experience and Kim was very communicative.

This place was amazing, my family and I do Airbnbs all the time when we travel and this is hands down the best! the house was super clean and had everything u need literally everything down to laundry soap. I will be back there next time I’m looking for a place in the Norfolk area

Responsive even before I booked. As pictured. Accommodated 5 of us very comfortably. Friends stayed one half block up I liked our place much better!

Lucy and Jerry have somehow created a cozy and quiet yet spacious home that allowed us to totally relax and rejuvenate. Staying at their home was a special treat for us and allowed us to connect with our family. I cannot speak highly enough of this serene and well appointed home. We loved the closed-in patio and enjoyed playing board games there. The safari room was a sweet space to enjoy hearing the frogs in the evening and peruse the great selection of books. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything necessary for our laundry needs. Finding the hidden nooks and spaces was delightful for us. The sheets were so soft and the beds were comfy and our sleep was excellent. This was a memorable stay and we hope to come back soon and enjoy this wonderful gem hosted by the kindest, most loving and attentive owners, Lucy and Jerry.

The hosts had placed a tabletop Christmas tree and various decorations throughout the house. The tree lights were not working so they came by and left a new set to put on the tree. It was such a thoughtful thing to do.

Thank you so much for everything. We stayed in unit A, upstairs. We had plenty of space for us. The bedrooms sizes are nice. kitchen is equipped with what you need. A very short walk to the beach and many shops and restaurants. Just steps away. I found the beds to be comfortable. I actually haven't slept that well away from home but at this place I slept like a baby. Matthew was fast at replying our messages and helped out tremendously. Awesome place to stay. My kids wanted to stay longer and so did my parents. We loved here.

We enjoyed ourselves. We traveled for our anniversary and had a peaceful relaxing time. We enjoyed sitting under the pergola, despite the cooler ocean breeze- it's November after all- we watched the sunrise and had morning coffee while watching the water. The space was VERY clean and comfortable. Host took care of a beeping smoke detector in another unit for us and informed when there might be noises upstairs. I appreciated that extra communication. Host informed of issue with jacuzzi in advance with his apologies. Again, appreciated!

Great place. Close to the Oceanfront and nice view in the backyard. Had everything for a weekend stay in vb!

Google maps took us past our parking area, not the renters fault but something to be aware of. We almost parked in the wrong lot. The unit is nice but very small, no big deal if you’re using it just to sleep. Other than that we haven’t any complaints.

It was nice to get to, and my trip was good. Unfortunately the day before I twisted my knee while packing for the trip, and was limping a bit. I was so hapoy to have happened to book on the first floor. There were 4 steps up to the front door and I was parked a bit far away, which I corrected when I was able, but when I arrived, some kind neighbors helped me with my bags up the steps. It was super peaceful and within a few days my knee was better. This was close to my Norfolk event, and it was really awesome to have a quick trip after some late parties. There was not much noise ever and the neighborhood was so sleepy we were surprised to find an event had blocked off and rerouted a few streets. It wasn't difficult to get around as there were lots of alternatives. Next time I hope to get on the ferry....with no injured knee. :) Great job from my host.

This is the third time I’ve stayed at Steff’s place, and would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the NN area. Steff is super communicative host, & the accommodations are as described - I especially enjoyed the access to a kitchen with full oven!

Kims place is very close to the beach. It had amazing location. The deck downstairs is very comfortable and relaxing. Full kitchen with everything you need to make a meal is a huge plus. Only 2 things we had a problem with: The full size bed is very uncomfortable. The box spring and the mattress bend in the middle. We had to put the mattress in the floor and that made it better. The bathroom doors do not lock, they slide, a part of them stays open. Overall, it was a good experience and I personally would stay again.

The place was exactly as described. It was perfect for our small family get away with 2 small grandchildren. Cheryl communicated all details well and continued to check on us. Definitely recommend this place.

We had a great time on a cold weekend in December. The beach was quiet; the city was empty. But the apartment was comfortable and clean.

Came down for a weekend, had a wonderful time exploring VA beach. Perfect location and excellent accommodations!

We had a fantastic time staying at Jamie & Crystal’s “Carolina on My Mind” condo at the Sanctuary in Sandbridge. The condo was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed, from dishes and cookware to all the essential appliances. The beach was clean and uncrowded during our visit, making it a perfect vacation. We especially enjoyed the foosball table, which provided hours of fun for our family. There were also plenty of play toys and family games to keep everyone occupied. The location was ideal, with easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. We would definitely recommend Carolina on My Mind to our family and friends.

Space is compact, but ideal for the 3 of us. Although we were not in town for pleasure (funeral), the beach is only a few blocks away. Kat was very quick in responding to any questions. She is a very gracious host.

The unit was as pictured and described. Very clean. Beautiful location and view. It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). Very convenient location to beach, walking / running path and bike riding. Host was easy to contact, friendly and responsive.
