Oakdale places to stay

I am happy to say that I enjoyed my stay here with my wife. It was wonderful experience having to find the secret room and taking a souvenir was one of the most thoughtful things to do that I never seen any other Airbnb that did that. I really do recommend that if you stay you should stay longer than a night only because we found it enjoyable to have stayed longer. The energy there is wonderful and welcoming. Will for sure be coming back!!!

Very cute and well furnished house. It was a block back from the main uptown street, so very walkable (5 minute walk to some bars and restaurants) without having to listen to traffic. I was also even able to rent one of those Lime scooters from downtown Minneapolis and scoot back to the house in like 12(?) minutes. I had a great weekend and would stay here again

A totally 5 star experience. Sara’s place is so cosy, comfortable, and a great vibe. Safe neighborhood, so easy to get anywhere in Twin cities. Her recommendations were spot on (Matt’s Bar, Lynette, and Boludo). I’ll add to that DuckDuck Coffee and Himalayan restaurant. Communication and instructions were clear and timely. I’ll be staying here every time I am in town.

The house was very clean and well stocked w/paper products,linens and kitchenware. High ceilings and nice sized rooms allow ample space for 6 adults. Ariel was very responsive to questions and made us feel very welcome in her home.

This is a warm, clean and very comfortable space, I felt right at home. Had knee replacement surgery when I first arrived and stayed a month to recuperate, Jerry and Lisa were very helpful and understanding. Lisa especially when out of her way to make my recovery easier. I highly recommend staying here and I look forward to staying again in the future. Thank you Jerry and Lisa!

Sean and Tanitta made my stay at their home as east as possible. Great proactive communication up front. I was able to check in a little early The house was very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, and everything you would need to serve guests. I had 8 people staying and we had plenty of everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Games, puzzles, foozball table, poker supplies, etc to provide family time entertainment. Best I have experienced. Thank you.

We flew in for a holiday visit and our plane landed late at night and so this location was great b/c it was less than 10 minutes from the airport which allowed us to focus more on getting settled in and rested rather than navigating a long drive. The condo was tucked away in a private and quiet area and we found it to be so cozy and peaceful. Just looking out the front window we saw beautiful cardinals and cute squirrels which was a thrill for us desert dwellers! The Minnehaha falls was a quick 15 min walk and WOW what a treasure it was despite the cold temps! We really enjoyed all of the little details the hosts put into the space, from toiletries to treasure maps! Highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's home! The home was so spacious and well equipped - perfect for our group of 8 adults. Sarah was very communicative and responsive. We really enjoyed the beautiful views of the property - the hot tub was also a bonus! We also did the short drive to Stillwater for shopping and restaurants.

I recently celebrated my birthday with a staycation at Nate’s Airbnb, and it was absolutely perfect! The space was incredibly comfortable and impeccably clean, creating a cozy atmosphere for my partner and me. Every detail was well thought out, making us feel right at home. Nate’s communication was excellent—he was always quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. It truly made the experience stress-free. Overall, this was the ideal getaway for my birthday, and I highly recommend booking with Nate for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. You won't be disappointed!

This cottage is so daring!! It is inviting, charming and comfortable. I don’t know who decorated it, but they did a fabulous job. My husband and I stayed 4 nights with one of our sons while in town for Christmas. Our daughter and her husband stayed at the Hotel Landing and the location of the cottage could not have been more convenient to the hotel and downtown Wayzata. We had a car, but walked everywhere. There is nothing not to like about this place. It has everything going for it… charm, location, lovely decor and coziness!

This is my second time at Andrew and McKenna's place. I loved staying here the second time as much as I did the first. They're wonderful hosts: flexible, responsive, accommodating. I needed something unexpectedly and Andrew responded quickly and helpfully. I'm very grateful to them both. I would feel comfortable staying here anytime. I find the place quite cozy, and I love having the workspace for the office. The different places to eat, relax, work, and sleep are a huge benefit. I found it to be the perfect size for a female traveler and I felt safe in the neighborhood. I got to try other restaurants I had missed the first time (Mojo Coffee! Amos and Amos BBQ! Olive and Lamb -- all were excellent). The Northeast Arts district can be a pretty happening spot. This is a gem and I hope it continues to bring joy to people who stay there.
