Vacation rentals with lake access in Nueces County

We were so delighted to arrive at the lovely, clean & beautifully decorated 2nd floor condo, “The Erin”!! The interior was really spectacular & just as shown in the photos!! Even the dishes in the cupboards were so lovely & neat and tidy, I had to take pictures!! There was ice ready in the freezer, hot water in the shower, two Roku TVs, wine glasses, a large shelf for our dry foods, & comfy furniture all around!! The walk in closet was perfect & the bed was roomy and we slept very well!! The peaceful and lovely view of the pond and sea grasses was a big hit!! It was shielded from the wind so we really enjoyed some nice warm times out there over Thanksgiving weekend watching various birds on the water. We saw a family fishing on the pond and the clubhouse is right across the street. The Gulf water is viewable from the balcony & is handy for either those who wish to walk or drive &park. Finally, Marilyn & Richard were excellent communicators, very attentive & kind hosts! Wonderful stay!

This condo was exactly what we needed for a peaceful babymoon at the ocean. The walk to the water was short (less than 10 minutes) and it was a beautiful and uncrowded part of the beach to spend a few hours. Hosts provided lots of beach essentials (towels, chairs, boards, wagon, floats, etc) which we could have used. The condo pool and hot tub were great, and my husband said the fitness center was above average. Host communication was very clear and helpful and not at all invasive. All in all, we had everything we needed and more! Great stay, great value. One note for groups of four - the bathroom is in the main bedroom. It was a perk for us but might be challenging for other groups.

Cozy little place within a 5min walk to the beach. Many restaurants and things to do nearby. The host was so nice, checked in and would promptly respond to my text. Will definitely be going back!

We had the best Thanksgiving with our family at Jays place. Very convenient location with a golf cart to take to the beach and all of the restaurants/bars. We spent most of our time in the oasis of a backyard. Highly recommend and will be staying again!

This place is very nice, spacious and close to the beach. The amenities were great with a heated pool and plenty of docks for fishing.

Excellent Airbnb for a crowd! We had plenty of space, not only in the bedrooms, but in the living areas - would definitely stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay because the view of the Laguna Madre was so beautiful. Birds, chickens, deer. It was close enough to what we wanted to do but felt peaceful and quiet. Everything we needed was there. It’s a cozy cottage that has been nicely updated without loosing its charm. I really look forward to bringing my husband here because he likes to fish a little. The pier is fantastic.

Beautiful, spacious, private, luxurious, quiet with amazing sunsets on the lagoon just steps from your private dock. Comfy yet gorgeous furnishings, and just minutes from all that Port A has to offer. We’ll be back!!

The house is well appointed and huge is an understatement… we had 8ppl in our group and we still had way too much space, it’s a great place to stay!
