Vacation rentals with beach access in Northumberland County

The island is gorgeous, and the location is close to the various shops and restaurants on the island. It is less than 5 minutes walking from where the ferry drops you. A really nice/affordable place to stay on the island. You can also rent ATVs for your stay. They were a lot of fun!

Shawn does a wonderful job taking care of my guys when they are in town for work. It’s difficult for men to be away from their family for work, but Shawn does a great job of making them feel welcome. He has been a great host for my employees.

Patrick's place was very cute and beautiful. Right by the water with enough space and privacy to enjoy a family weekend trip. The view of the water was beautiful, wish we could have come when it was warmer so we could enjoy the kayaks and the water more. Thank you!

Views for miles! The location couldn't be better and the host was always responsive and helpful. This unit sits right on the potomac river and morning sunrises were my favorite part of my day. Walk to many restaurants and entertainment

The area was gorgeous with alot of wildlife - we saw an Eagle, Blue Heron, sting ray, blue crabs, fish, fiddler crabs, tons of birds and even a Hummingbird. Loved having a beachy area so close. I do wish there was a swimming area on the large bay side or a way to get in the water and get out. Granite you can just jump from the dock i suppose but I wasn’t sure how would get out without a ladder. A ladder on the dock or a small bridge over the rock bank would be lovely. The cove side had somewhat mucky bottom further you went and am not a fan of that on my feet. But again loved all the scenery, sounds and wildlife.

Amy and Andy are excellent hosts! I had so much fun. I was just a little disappointed in the wi-fi/internet connection but Andy is doing his best to correct it. This is my second time staying here and I will be coming back! I highly recommend it!

This was my first time using airbnb. I hope this the standard. She made me feel like it was a home away from home. I will definitely returning for a stay.

What a quaint and homey facility with all the amenities one needs. The bed was very comfortable; the bathroom of perfect size and the location and its setting was as close to heaven as one could ask for. The weather was perfect while we were there, so we were able to enjoy the beauty of the perfect time of year to be on the Chesapeake Bay. We’ll be back!

Spectacular sunsets, incredible views, comfy beds, lots of spaces to curl up or enjoy the peaceful surroundings, full equipment for water sports, well stocked kitchen, friendly community and responsive and welcoming host- this house had it all for our wonderful family vacation.

A spacious home by the water. We celebrated Thanksgiving at this location and it was very special. The views are beautiful, had a fire right by the water and relaxed by the beach. A perfect getaway with family and friends. It has everything you need, the living room is super comfortable and great to relax with the family. The kitchen was spacious making it easy to cook and entertain the family. We loved the hot tub, playing pool and having family dinner. Overall a fabulous experience!! Great host- great communication. Highly recommend

We stayed at Megan and Jim’s waterfront getaway for me and my partners birthday. We had our 4 friends join us and our furry family members! We had an absolute BLAST! It was the most peaceful and relaxing trip I’ve had in a very long time. I felt right at home, didn’t feel the need to constantly plan things. Time definitely slowed down and allowed us to really relax. We did a ton of fishing and crabbing at the house on their dock. The kitchen had every amenity you could think of. I didn’t need to ask for a single thing throughout the weekend! We took a charter boat to go on fishing trip one day. Get hooked charter fishing was so fun and SO CLOSE to this amazing property. We all were so sad to leave our last day. Highly recommend! We are already on planning another trip soon to stay again! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

This place is truly a hidden gem! I’ve stayed here twice now and plan to make it an annual tradition. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway with amazing views, pet friendly, a fishing pier, spacious lawn for games, a cozy fire pit, and a grill. The common living room is ideal for gaming and movie nights. Highly recommend!

This was a perfect getaway! The home was spacious and fully stocked with all amenities. The view of the lake was breathtaking. We enjoyed the fire pit and relaxing on the dock. This area was very private and peaceful. Christopher was an amazing host! I would highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived to our last morning we felt an amazing sense of being in the country with gorgeous views in the morning and crystal clear water a stones throw away from the house we felt relaxed and very much at home. We will definitely be back.

Ashely’s house is an absolute dream and the pinnacle of tranquility! The views are incredible and it’s a perfect place to relax and take a step back from busy city life. We spent Thanksgiving in Ashley’s house and it was heavenly. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the rooms are comfortable with views of the water.

This place worked wonders for our family vacation. the place is very new and updated with 2 full bathrooms that were clean and spacious for beach time and baths with kids. colonial beach is a hidden gem in a historic little town that seems as though at one point was hustling and bustling but isn't quite as popular as it once was but trying to come back. if your a family looking for a uncrowded beach and some activities to do in the area then this place is great! we actually read about this place being in the heart of historic downtown. only thing we would have loved to see with this place is some outdoor patio spot at the home directly to be able to sit outside together. the location does not really have any night life during the week, not even on 4th of July. we went out at 9 pm and the bar closed at 10 pm which seemed way too early for a Thursday and holiday and being on the beach.

After a little miscommunication on the arrival time, everything was at it should be or better. Great location, clean, responsive well worth it. Great experience and will be back regularly.

Had a great weekend at Brandon's house! Awesome location walkable to lots of stuff, house was comfortable, and well-equipped. Brandon was a super communicative host and responded immediately to help us resolve an issue with a ceiling fan - fantastic experience and we'd definitely stay here again.

It was my second visit to Tangier and I stayed at Travis' place again. The location is perfect - close to anywhere that you would like to explore. The room was clean and well-decorated. The host Travis was so responsive. He was always there for help.

Greetings, My family and I decided to go away this year for the Thanksgiving Holiday 2024. We stayed at this Beautiful Condo in Crisfield MD from Wed. Nov. 27th -Saturday Nov. 30, 2024 The price was very affordable which made our decision to stay that much easier. Our check in process was effortless. Our host, Marietta provided the information needed to gain access to the property in a timely manner. Parking pass were readily available for our vehicles and the neighbors we met when entering into the building were very friendly. The decor at this property is fabulous, the entire unit is spacious, squeaky clean, neat and well organized. It was really our home away from home. The views from this 5th Floor unit are breathtaking and even though the weather outside was frosty, which prevented us from lounging on the balcony to take in the scenery. We simply enjoyed the inside warmth from the gas burning fireplace and the view of the marina so soothing and relaxing. Satisfied 🥰
