We really enjoyed our stay - the flat was spotless, tastefully furnished and in a great location. The check‑in process was smooth and the host was responsive throughout. My only small gripe was the rigidity around check‑in and check‑out times. Check‑in wasn’t available until 4 PM, and check‑out strictly at 10 AM (with a hefty £35 fee to arrive earlier). Our cleaner arrived at 10:15 AM, which felt a little tight. If the host could offer even a 30‑minute buffer on either end, it would make arrivals and departures much more relaxed. Overall, highly recommended - just be aware of the fixed times!

Lovely stay with 6 adults and 2 infants. Great set up for kids and very nice main room and decking area. Hot tub, BBQ, kayak and right next to a lovely lake. What more do you want!? Only slight draw back is you can hear the road but didn't bother us at all.

Stunning location! I visited here with my husband and two young children and it was perfect for a little family getaway. The weather was definitely on our side too! The lake was so peaceful, we loved everything about the accommodation. We visited Bourton-on-the-water, Chichester Park, Cotswold Country Farm and more. We will definitely be returning!

Myself and five friends had the most wonderful stay at the beautiful Lake House. Mark was prompt with any queries and kindly let us check-in early after some of our group had travelled from far away. The house was as described and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen and appreciated the three spot-less bathrooms. The sun shone for us, so we were able to enjoy the wrap-around decked outdoor seating area and take advantage of the kayak and rowing boat. The attention to detail with the provision of sporting equipment and board games was fantastic! We enjoyed walks along the canal and to other easily accessible lakes and had a good choice of cafes, bars and restaurants. My friends all discussed returning in the future as a group and with our families. Thank you Mark for making our weekend.

A lovely cottage that was clean and well equipped. Plenty of room for 7 of us and great to have 3 shower/bathrooms and 2 dining areas, so there was room to spread out. The garden was an extra bonus for the children. Great Rissington is a really charming village and within half an hours drive of lots of attractions for both adults and children. Good to have The Lamb pub just down the road. Would recommend.

Lovely stay in stow. Was exactly as described and matched the photos perfectly. Perfect location right in the middle of the town. We were lucky enough to find a parking space on sheep street a one minute walk away. We would definitely recommend this flat. I would strongly recommend this home stay. It had everything we were looking for in a day trip with our family and kids. There was self-check-in and check-out, and the house was fully equipped with everything we could imagine in a country house. We felt like we experienced the English countryside during our stay. The pictures don’t do justice. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, and the home itself was top-notch, especially the decor. Barry did an amazing job with the interiors. Barry was great at communication, and the detailed descriptions were really helpful! We would like to thank Barry for keeping the house the way it should.

The Avon lodge was the perfect retreat for a relaxing couple of days in the countryside. The house was beautiful, cosy, and spotless and we will definitely be returning. A bonus was our lovely host Carole, bringing us fresh pastries for breakfast in the morning which were delicious!

Great stay at the house and perfect for what we needed. A few things the host has made clear they are working on to make the place really great but they didn't interfere with our stay.
