House vacation rentals in Northamptonshire

We were pleased to find accommodation available where we could all stay and have a bed, have our second Christmas Day and generally be together with lots of space. Having the pool to enjoy was a particular bonus as most of us enjoy the water.

Marc, the host, was extremely helpful and responsive. He ensured we had all the necessary information prior to arrival. There was an issue with the first bathroom toilet, however Marc immediately offered for someone to come and have a look at it. The place was very peaceful and had a beautiful setting. It was cosy and we felt right at home! We only stayed for one night but we will definitely be returning! Lovely place and beautiful surroundings Thankyou!

We had a great short break and the house was perfect and matched all of the pictures and descriptions. The hot tub was brilliant and the proactive emails, instructions and support from Rob were first class. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Lucy’s place. The coach house is very comfortable and the gardens are stunning, we underestimated how extensive and beautiful they would be. The pool is lovely too. The location is a great place to explore the Cotswolds and we’d recommend booking a table at the local pub for dinner too! Hope we can return one day!

We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

Lovely place right on the water. Looks better than the photos. Had everything we needed in a great location with access to pool and with onsite restaurant and little shop. Perfect for a get away would come again

We had a lovely week at Clare's cottage and can really recommend it 😊 The area is really nice and has a lot to offer, the cottage is a good starting point for day trips to the Cotswolds. You'll find a lot inspiration for what to do in the house but Clare is also happy to help and will provide you with information. The house itself is really nice and is great for a relaxing holiday. Just one thing to consider for tall people: The bed does seem to be only 1,90m long, which might bother you. It is also quite squeaky, which can be annoying if you move a lot in your sleep. Otherwise, the cottage is great and we really enjoyed our stay there 😊

Great location. Beautiful house equipped with everything you could need to make for a comfortable relaxing stay. Very quiet and peaceful and a very well maintained site. Lots of things to do for all ages and it’s a huge bonus having kayaks etc available for use on the lake - the whole family had so much fun. We would have loved to have stayed longer - so may be back! We stayed here recently for work and the property was spot on. Very clean and well presented, had everything we needed. Carly was a great host and did us a good deal for staying long term. Will definitely stay here again.

This is a really lovely property, very spacious and ideal for gatherings of family or friends. The living spaces are generous, and having two living spaces meant everyone had somewhere to relax. The bedrooms are also sizeable, clean, and comfortable. The property has plenty to make your stay comfortable: plenty of kitchenware and utensils (I was able to make a couple of desserts with ease) and the Aga means the kitchen is always warm. There are plenty of books in most of the rooms, and a good range of DVDs too. It feels like a family home, not an 'empty shell', and made for a cosy and happy stay with guests from 2 to 80. We didn't use the outside spaces because of the weather, but they are really nicely maintained and would be ideal in dryer weather for being/eating outside. The hosts, Bolthole Retreats, were responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property for your stay.

I spent two weeks in Florin 's house. The house was impeccably clean and very well maintened, with all the amenities needed to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The house is located in a very peaceful area, close to public transport, perfect! Florin was a very attentive and responsive host during our interactions. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable place!

I had booked 2 of Anjus accommodation for guests travelling from abroad to attend a wedding. Everyone loved the accommodations - they were spacious, clean and suited the needs of our guests. Eva was a fantastic host - so friendly, communicative and very accommodating. We stayed in the property over Christmas - it was very spacious and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Eva made it feel so welcoming and homely for us. She left welcome treats for the children and the adults, and a manual with all the ‘need to know’ information. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the utensils we needed for our Christmas dinner! The property is superb and in the most beautiful location. We enjoyed many walks around the local countryside and enjoyed watching the wildlife in the back garden - deer, foxes, pheasants, squirrels, as well as the resident chickens! We had the perfect stay.
