Vacation rentals with a fire pit in North West Leicestershire District

Lucy was great - always responsive and helpful/clear with instructions. The place itself was fantastic, I was there with my wife, brother and some friends over New Year, and we were very comfortable. We had our dogs as well, who loved the garden! (Though note that the garden is not fully enclosed). We had a wonderful time - thanks Lucy!

We had the most wonderful stay at Toodles Cottage over Christmas! The location in Cromford is perfect—so close to Matlock Bath and surrounded by beautiful walks that we thoroughly enjoyed exploring. Anya went above and beyond to make our Christmas special, with thoughtful extra touches and lovely Christmas decorations that made the cottage feel magical. It’s clear that this is a much-loved home, and we felt so lucky to have stayed there. We truly hope to return someday—thank you, Anya, for a fantastic experience.

Fantastic house to stay in! We use this house to meet friends who live all across the country and it is the perfect. Downstairs is a brilliant social space to spend time together. Kitchen diner is perfect for meals and the large lounge is cosy. Great garden for kids to play in or sit with a coffee or glass of wine. Bedrooms well equiped and ideal if you do still need and hour to yourself. Little touches like children's books on a couple of the rooms and games and other books to read downstairs make this feel like home away from home. It's street parking but we brought 4 cars and had no problem finding space close by. Shops and restaurants very close by, a lovely park to walk to. We'll be back again!

I had a wonderful stay. The home was cosy and stylish, creating a peaceful, zen vibe. The location was excellent, close to many amenities such as pubs, restaurants, and shops. I would highly recommend it.

We Were at the NEC Birmingham for an event and looked for an air b and b this property become available took only 8 mins to get to the gate of the NEC so perfect for what we wanted there was a sticker on the table with the WIFI code and have to say made work easier when we got back with supper fast fibre internet would recommend has dishwasher washing machine and everything you would need even a hot tub but we were to tired from the show to use it

The accommodation was booked for a colleague travelling from China and working in the UK for 3 weeks. Lovely weekend stay on one of the coldest weekends of the year. Place was lovely and warm, and well set up. Free of clutter. Fit the description to a T. Walkable distance to eateries. And easy to find via Satnav. Lovely host, responsive, and helpful. Exactly what we needed for our weekend stay.

We had a great weekend at the Hedges! A very peaceful and relaxing place that is well cared for. We felt that the family were close by if we needed anything but this wasn’t an intrusive presence. Absolutely fantastic place, with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Easy to access and plenty of instructions for everything in the property which meant we didn’t have to bother the host for anything. Spotless property with gorgeous decor both inside and out. Host even left us a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge as we was staying for our friends birthday which we thought was a lovely touch. Would 100% recommend to all to stay here, we will definitely be back here in the future. Thank you to the hosts for creating such a wonderful place with everything we needed to enjoy our stay

We stayed 2 nights in Cherry Pod with our 2 children (6 and 3). We arrived in the snow and it was like a magical winter wonderland! Sarah gave us really helpful, clear instructions on how to access to property which made our arrival really simple. Despite poor weather we were so comfortable and cosy all weekend, the scenery was beautiful and we had everything we could have possibly needed and Sarah kindly even left us some birthday treats, which made it even more special. She was also extremely helpful in giving us local recommendations for places to eat and visit for the day. When we were packing up to leave, Sarah also kindly allowed us and the children to visit their 4 very friendly Alpacas, which was an absolute highlight! We absolutely loved our stay and have no doubt we'll be back - highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Location was a lovely mix of out on its own but not too far a drive to the local town. Loved how the cabin was decorated and laid out, very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Great place to stay for a quiet romantic get away Callum made it very welcoming with a free bottle of Prosecco he made sure hot tub was ready for us just all round amazing stay hot tub is amazing and the cabin is very charming we had an amazing stay well worth the money will defo come again. 5 plus stars 🌟

We had a wonderful stay at the wood house with the whirlpool! It was perfect for our family – cozy, and beautifully designed. The kids had a great time exploring, and our dog felt right at home. The whirlpool was a fantastic highlight, making our stay even more relaxing. A perfect getaway for the whole family – we’d love to come back! 😊🐾

This cabin is great for those wanting a quiet and cheap place to stay. The farm track is long and bumpy but just take it steady and you will be fine (I have a Toyota avensis). If arriving in the dark, drive along until you see a sign post (on the right hand side) take the left road past the cottages and not the right turn into someone's home. then take a short path to the right to find the cabin. I was worried about being cold but the log burner and provided heater kept us toasty all weekend (even when it was snowing). I would definitely come here again.
