Free parking on the doorstep. 30 second walk to stunning curved beach, promenade, off shore sculpture and links golf course. Walking distance to local amenities and church point where dolphins are sighted. From here you can explore the rest of this heritage coastline. Newcastle’s city centre is less than 30 mins drive. Alnwick castle(filming location for Harry Potter)is a 45 min drive in land.

Comfy 4 seater sofa and large chair in living room to cosy up on after seeing the sights of South shields. 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Separate shower & bath Back yard that gets the sun from early afternoon until l sun down. Ideally located right on South Shields seafront. I couldn't think of a more central and beautiful place to stay than the Anchorage.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

Allaoua was very nice and easy to contact and would respond promptly to any questions we had. He went over everything when we got there and it was great for our family of 8. We even hosted a family of 5 for dinner one night and there was plenty of space for all 13 of us! Highly recommend! Lots of nearby restaurants/grocery store/beach!

Had a quick overnight stay , ideal for latest groups with plenty space. Lovely view and fab Indian restaurant just down the stairs, ideal after travelling down from Scotland . Beds were super comfortable. Would defo use again if we have another event at the same sports centre.

We just had 2 nights, in the double decker bus and absolutely loved it!! It’s designed beautifully super cool stay, hot tub and added bonus!!. The host left Easter treats for our children along with birthday balloons for our son. Which was super thoughtful and very much appreciated. Lovely welcome basket, lots of nice little home touches.
