Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Norfolk

Perfect beach get-a-way. Located in a vibrant neighborhood - lots of families, dogs, and a quick walk to the beach. My dogs loved sleeping on the porch and the close proximity to the beachfront. Comfortable primary bed, spacious bathroom, and comfortable living room accommodations. Next year I'll bring the husband! He was bummed to miss out. The property has my strongest endorsement.

With the chaos around the holidays, Esmel's home provided us a space to decompress whenever we needed to get away for a bit. There was plenty of space for our dog to run around and the location was quick drive to the beach and one of our favorite local coffee spot. While we didn't get a chance to during this visit, their fire pit was a nice touch to the property. Having the outdoor space to connect with friends/family over a warm fire would easily sway our decision to come back and stay here again. Cheers!

Exceptional Airbnb host - communication with Diana was so easy and friendly. The first feeling when I walked in was "wow!" It's a very nice space and clearly the result of thoughtful curation by the hosts. The home was well-stocked and clean, which made the stay feel easy/relaxing - there were thoughtful touches in every room, from the very well-stocked kitchen to the shampoo/conditioner/body wash in every bathroom to the pillows of multiple firmness levels making it easy to find one that worked for me. So nice to have a washer/dryer while traveling too. And the very clear instructions on check-in and check-out also added to the sense of ease. One flag for those with small children is to pay special attention to the photos of the upstairs balcony rail and stairs - the gaps are fine for anyone who isn't a baby/toddler, but we chose to make the toddler room the downstairs bedroom, rather than having him walking around upstairs at all, just to be extra safe.

Absolutely ideal for our quick two night stop by to see family. Great for the dog with the fully fenced back yard. Everything was awesome. Xmas decorations were the added bonus! Thanks so much.

Davina was very attentive and was always checking in to make sure things were going well. She quickly responded to messages and was very helpful.

Leo was very friendly and reached out through the Airbnb app several times before I arrived. His place is convenient to many restaurants, bars and museums in the Olde Town district of Portsmouth. The bed was very comfortable. There is a plenty of storage and closet space and the bathroom was well-appointed and clean. Leo's space is decorated in a tasteful, contemporary style. I had one small request about a leaky faucet and he fixed it immediately. I would rent from him again.

We loved our beach getaway because of our accommodation, it was private and peaceful and had everything we needed! Very clean and furniture done in great taste! We spent a whole week and we didn't want to leave. We especially loved the deck with all the beautiful plants and that we could hear the ocean especially at night! A big plus! We are definitely going back! Jules and Scott, the hosts were so welcoming and kind to us and always helpful. The short walk to the beach was beautiful and so easy! What a gem this place is! Place was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I slept through the night in the beds and enjoyed the balcony view. I only wished the balcony furniture was cleaned, although I understand due to the storm and other things being maintained on the property it was probably hard to get to.

Loved my stay! Super clean and very welcoming inside. The host was very responsive with any questions I had and looked to solve them asap. Would recommend!

The inside of the place was great — there was plenty of space, and it was very comfortable. It’s also just a 10-minute walk to the beach, which was a nice bonus. The outside area was a bit less ideal, especially with multiple people walking around at night, one of whom was even asking for food quite late. I was also a little surprised to be asked to start laundry, run the dishwasher, and take out the trash, especially considering the cleaning fee. I’d definitely consider staying here again, but I’d hope that expectations around cleaning are adjusted moving forward.

We’ve stayed in many places in Va Beach and this is best one yet. Ocean views from every room in the airbnb; feels like you’re floating on the ocean. Spacious balcony with a table and seating for two. There are so many little extra touches like an iPhone charger, a noise and light machine, Alexa music and tv stations in the kitchen & master bathroom. We loved the compact dual fridges, one for drinks (holds bottles, cans and champagne or wine) & one for food. There is also an ice machine on the island counter. This will be our go to spot from now on.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Roshana's place! From the moment we arrived, Roshana made us feel incredibly welcome. The accommodation was exactly as described, if not better. The space was spotless, well-decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Roshana went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions and restaurants, yet in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Communication with Roshana was seamless. She was always quick to respond and very helpful with any questions I had. I truly appreciated her hospitality and attention to detail. I highly recommend staying at Roshana's place if you're visiting Norfolk. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

This is such a great space for a big group, so much space between the three floors and the bathrooms were enough for the group we had, limited their wait time. Enough space for everyone as we were a group of 12 up in the area to compete at a National meet so having space being able to rest between events and days was key 🔑 I would definitely stay here again! Sarah was a great host…enormously accommodating and flexible. We all had a wonderful stay in a unique home. We would highly recommend Sarah’s place…and make sure that you go to Kiptopeke state park and see the cement ships!!!!

We had guests coming into town and needed a place for them last minute. Zoe's place was perfect- plenty of space for 6 adults. Good location, easy to get to. Worked out great and our guests raved!
