We loved the house. It is an older house, but with a lot of Ostriesian charm. The house is very spacious and has a great garden. Everything was very clean and the house was well appointed Small gifts were also left for us. Thank you!

The location of this cottage just behind the dyke is fantastic. Completely rest and seclusion. A car is already convenient to get to the surrounding villages. We had a great break with Angelika and Jan and 100% recommend the place.

We had a wonderful stay. The Künstlerhaus is truly special. In every corner there is something new to discover in the Künstlerhaus, also a wide selection of books is available. There is plenty of space in the house and it is very cozy there. Recovery starts when you enter the house. In the beautiful large garden (rose garden) with trees we were able to relax well. Driving routes to the sea are short. Nature and peaceful surroundings make you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The getaway gave us great pleasure. Many thanks to Jara!

It was wonderful! We stayed with 10 adults, two smaller children and dog. On the upper floor of the Old School you can sit comfortably with everyone and cook/eat and the children still had space to play. There was nothing missing, we will definitely come back again. Thanks to Pia :)

Cozy well-equipped house in a private location, we felt right at home and could also sit well under the covered terrace at this time of year. The entrance hallway was perfect for our dogs who are not supposed to walk around the house, where they were well accommodated at night. We were able to ride the dogs directly on the dyke roads from the property on bicycles, so very well located for us. The house was clean and good to heat with little wood, which then makes it more cozy. Thank you for this beautiful house.

When you have climbed the upper floor, you will find a small gem behind the apartment door. The very nicely furnished apartment leaves nothing to be desired, you feel right at home. The pedestrian zone as well as the North Sea Passage can be reached in a few minutes on foot and thus also many restaurants, cafes and shops serving everyday needs for self-catering.

We had a great, albeit short, stay with our two daughters (4 and 6) and grandma. Everything was exactly as described, the apartment is large, lovingly decorated and exactly as shown in the pictures. We felt absolutely comfortable. Grete is very friendly and also helped us with tips for things to do and restaurants. In short: A successful getaway

The apartment is located in a side street, with about a 2-minute walk to the beach. The apartment is very cozily furnished and invites you to linger. Everything was very clean. The communication with Jürgen went smoothly, as did the key handover with the neighbor. All in all, a successful stay! I'd love to come back.

Olimpia welcomed us friendly on site, briefly led through the apartment and instructed us. We spoke on the phone before check-in, everything went smoothly. If we needed anything, Olimpia was always easily accessible, friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped and the rooms offer good retreats if you want. We immediately felt at home with Olimpia and will be happy to come back.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was really available in the apartment and very nicely furnished. In addition, the accommodation is close to the center and you can thus quickly walk to everything worth seeing. Very recommended!

Very clean and nicely furnished apartment in a quiet location. Communication and organization was straightforward. You can walk comfortably to the beach in Norddeich or to the ferry (it took me 30 minutes). A few hundred meters away is an Italian restaurant. Several supermarkets are also nearby.

We were in need because another AirBnB provider left us hanging! AirBnB employee sooo great supported us and found this place. The hosts also mega flexible , away from any deadlines, responded immediately, WHG was ready for occupancy and quickly cleaned and zack... after all the stress... the holiday mode could start. 😀WHG is really super great with a lot of love for details. The apartment is a dream. Beautiful little garden, super nice hostess, modern furnishings, even the decoration fit during the season! There's really nothing missing. We can only recommend the apartment without reservation.

We stayed at Diane's apartment with our two toddlers in December. We were positively surprised! The apartment was well maintained and the kitchen was very well equipped. I'm often bothered by smells in vacation rentals. This apartment didn't smell like anything. I find that extremely positive.

Super nice place where you felt right at home. Shops are easily accessible on foot. Uncomplicated arrival and departure. Highly recommended.

Great, bright and fantastically located apartment, very comfortable. Even if the weather doesn't play along, you can spend a good time here. The beds were comfortable, the view is sensational. We can very well imagine coming back and had a good time in the apartment. A little tip: If you like to cook, you should bring spices, baking paper and a noodle sieve.

The apartment was very central. You could walk to everything ( shops, restaurants and of course the beach). We enjoyed it very much. The facility is very well maintained. Glad to come back!
