Hector's villa matches the listing photos. A welcome in person by a service staff (you can still access it on your own), with fresh fruit offered. The accommodation was spacious with a lot of amenities, bike available which is good enough for traveling with family/friends. On the other hand, the two bedrooms are "connected", there is no soundproofing since the two floors are interconnected. The garden is nice for dinner/BBQ. The only downside would be the noises of animals nearby, but that is also what makes the charm of Mexico: birds singing early in the morning. Anyway, we really enjoyed the place as a whole.

We had a great time! The house is beautiful as is the nature around. We also had some encounters with wildlife like several birds, geckos, spiders, Skorpions, crocodiles (from afar) and fishes. It was a great place to relax. Luis and Oswaldo were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed!

we had a great time and in general the place is amazing . the boardwalk to the water is magical and can create beautiful memories. equipment was available but there are no life vest. on the other hand, i would recommend guest to try to visit in the dry season because the road during rainy season is only accessible with a robust 4x4. the host recommendations were great specially with the chef that came to the house! make sure you ask for him ! in conclusion, this is a great place for a group that wants to have a great time and relax.

Very well cared for, clean and tidy property. You receive what the pictures show you. The energy of the place is good and feels very homely, even though it is inside a complex surrounded by other villas, it does feel a private atmosphere. Katy has good response time to messages and good communication.

We had a great stay at Kalina’s place over New Years — the house is lovely and comfortable, much more spacious than the pictures, and the lagoon and the dock are beautiful. Daily cleaning was much appreciated as well, especially with our group doing so much cooking. I also really appreciated Bartolo’s responsiveness—when the blender broke he was able to replace it the next day. The house is secluded and very secure and half an hour from the town of Bacalar, which allows you to fully immerse in nature while still being able to go into town for activities and meals.

The cabin had a wonderful view to the Bacalar Lagoon. From the property, you could directly access the lagoon for swimming and enjoying its crystal clear waters. The place was very quiet and the hosts were always attentive to everything we needed, being very friendly at all times. The surroundings were extremely quiet, allowing you to relax and fully enjoy the place. Definitely a highly recommended place to stay for those looking for a serene destination with an impressive nature. It is important to note that the road to the cabin can be a little tricky, with branches, potholes and slopes that can represent a challenge. Therefore, it is recommended to arrive in an own vehicle to be able to access without problems. Also, it is recommended to bring the food and insect repellent as there are several mosquitoes in the area. Overall, it's a great option for those who want to get away from the hustle.
